I actually love Professor Prasad. Yes she can be pretty snarky and sarcastic, but in the best way possible. I've taken two classes with her, and learned so much information it's ridiculous. You wont regret it! Definitely be prepared to read a lot, but if you study and meet with her it'll be fine :)

Had her for my Scribner Seminar on Capitalism. Class is relatively easy as long as you put proper effort into assignments. What I don't like about her though is how nasty she got when I told her I was transferring out of Skidmore. Not the greatest advisor.

Had her in Fall 2006 for my Scribner Seminar on Capitalism. Class was relatively easy and getting an A is not that hard as long as you put effort into it. What I don't like about her is how negative she was when I decided to transfer out of Skidmore. Has a real viscious side to her.

This professor is amazing! She is difficult and challenging with her material, but she keeps it very interesting. She often brings up other information relevant to the material that make it even more interesting. She is VERY accessible and willing to help, and I found her not only an amazing professor but also a great advisor. I highly recommend.

Quite brilliant, willing to talk to you one-on-one, really knows her stuff. Heavy reading, but manageable. I enjoyed her class and plan to take another with her. Pushi is my favorite professor at Skidmore so far.

I was really skeptical at first, I took the class for a lot of reasons that now seem unimportant. And I still enjoyed it because Pushi was not only enthusiastic but very smart. Really knows her stuff, not too much reading.
