Comment:

Despite teaching Business, she was not professional or helpful. I had to email several times for clarification on dates and grades due to inconsistencies between her syllabus and news posts, and missed an entire exam because of it. She replied like it was a chore, usually with grammar mistakes. How she ran the class was extremely overcomplicated.

I would not recommend taking this class online. There is so much work that it is very difficult to keep up. I was overwhelmed and had to drop this class. The teacher is not helpful at all. She should provide more help links for those that are taking her class online.

Class was ridiculous! Most boring class that I have ever had to take, and it was online!!!! If you do not know the material for the final then you will boom it, like me! She expects you to know every little aspect of the program as she does

Came into this class wanting to go into a career in accounting. Ruined it for me by the end of the semester. She is not clear in teaching the material and tries to cover way too much. Avoid if possible but take if you want to spend an entire semester dedicated to nothing but studying accounting.

Mrs. Nolen is a good teacher and very helpful, but she makes this class WAY harder than it should be. I am an A and B student and I made a C in both of her classes. My advice is to wait and take this class at whatever university you end up going too because you could end up regretting it like I did.

Such a boring course. Very monotone during lectures, makes you want to fall asleep. Knows what she's talking about just doesn't make it interesting at all. Easy A though if you follow along in class and do the work in the book even though it's not manditory.

She is THE teacher if you are planning a career in accounting. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Do not take her if you just need to pass the class; but if you need to know the material, Prof. Nolen should be your #1 choice. Do your HW, ask questions in class, get extra credits and you'll be fine.

I took accounting I and passed it but barely. After that I took Acct II and thought that I failed it because it didin't show if I passed or failed it on Vista. So then I signed up for it over the summer and didint find out that I had passed it the first time until after the drop date, and as a result I failed it this time. This woman has no compass

I have had her for accouting I and II. She is not the greatest teacher in the world.Make sure you her the first time, cuz if you raise your hand and ask a question she will sigh and then anwser it. It is the kind of Sigh like "why didn't you understand it the first time". her tests are hard but you get a curve. I made a B in acct 1 and A in acct 2

Nolen is one of those people that are too smart to teach. She knows all of the ins and outs of accounting, but she just cannot get the information our of her head and into the student's. She is very good with grading on a curve and allowing you to correct test errors for partial credit, but I would not reccomend her for any class!
