This teacher is really disorganized...I reccomend to everybody to try their best and avoid taking her. She litterally is not a good teacher...probably the worst i have taken in my whole life. Save yourself time and do not take her.

OMG. Don't take her. Seriously...hands-down the WORST teacher at Chaffey. She answers your questions with twenty more questions and if she doesn't share the same opinion as you...believe me, you'll hear about it. Not to mention there is absolutely no structure whatsoever to her teaching. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

jill murphy reminds me of a troll. a very unclear troll at that. she thinks she is a philosolhy teacher and says we have the right to accept anything we want to...what she doesnt tell you is that if it is not of her belief, we will get an F. I found her very unclear, a very harsh grader. She speaks in toungs and i had no idea what she was saying

I have been told by several teachers that I am a great writer. I have never gotten less than an A- on an essay before in my life. However, J. Murphy gave me and F on my first essay because I did TOO MUCH work! Call me crazy, but that seems really unfair. She seems cool as a person, but grades way too harshly.

She expexts to much out of her students. Does not grade fairly, and does not want to help even when she has asked to meet with you. If english is not your storngest I don't recomend taking her. You will always have a load of homework to do every day. Trust me!!!! Take her as a last resort.

Jill murphy?... Pretty much a nut job all together. An extreamly hard grader, thinks she is funny but she is not, very unclear about what she wants out of the students and the assignments, Says we are "free". I would not reccomend this professor.

Where should I start? She focused on the short stories (which only consisted of 10% of our grade). The essays, which were the most important, she did not focus on. By the end of class we were down to 6 students. I should have gotten out while I could. She doesnt explain anything. Not good at teacher. Would not recommend. Students watch out.
