You will never be left to guess if you can't do something he will hear you out and has office hours and his conferences are truly helpful to any struggling student. There is a lot of homework but it is truly for your benefit and helps alot.

Comment:

My first time taking 495 did not really go so well. It was at the Rancho campus which I feel is a mistake. I made the decision to switch to the Chino campus and honestly for a first impression he made me feel my decision was a good one. He helped me out a lot with my essays and always made his instructions clear for me to understand. Awesome class.

Comment:

I took Nazar Fall 2018 and this was his first time teaching a Honors course. Coming from someone who has never written an actual essay before, this class really helped shape and strengthen my writing skills. I'm not going to lie, the workload was pretty overwhelming for me at first, but overall, Prof Nazar cares and wants his students to succeed.

He inspires you. He opens himself to be vulnerable so that you may open yourself too. He wants you to learn and move forward. His study plan is very organized and gets the material out in a way you understand what he expects of you. Great teacher and awesome person.

Professor Nazar has by far been the best professor I have taken here at Chaffey College. He is absolutely amazing and really pushes you to become a better writer. He explains every single essay that is given very clearly and encourages you to be creative and passionate about what you are writing about because it truly does help.

Great professor if you are looking for an English teacher I strong recommend Nazar. Just be sure to show up to class and do not miss any homework assignments. Though he's fair when it comes to grading papers and tests. Gives great feedback and really breaks down an essay.

It was amazing to have Nazar as my Eng 495 professor for my first semester at Chaffey. He gives good feedback and makes you want to actually work on your writing skills for the essays. A lot of paperwork, but it helps along with his great lectures/discussions. I highly recommend him for any of his English classes he has at Chaffey!

I took Eng1A during summer, it was a lot of work due to having only 6 weeks to learn everything, wrote 3 essays in 6 weeks, you have to put all your effort in your papers to see a good grade. SI Sessions did not help me at all. but overall good, he is a great and funny professor , he makes you work for your grade. would recommend.

Out of every teacher/professor I have ever had, he has been the best in teaching and engaging the students in lecture. You can tell he has a passion for teaching. He will make you feel comfortable to ask questions. If I can have him for every subject, I would. Highly recommend him!

Great teacher. We read a book in this class just an fyi, easy yet interesting but dont fall behind. He is a tough grader but it has helped improved me as one who is not great in english essay writing. I have learned a lot from him plus the fun part of his class is drawing illustrations.

Setting the standards high with this professor. Pros- very clear on his standards with his students. Gives LOTS of opportunity for extra credit. Syllabus is very thorough. This guy wants you to learn. Excellent teaching skills. His class is not hard, just do the assigned work and you will see progress in your English skills and you will get a decent grade at the same time. If you are taking his class just to "get through it" and pass English 1A then don't waste his time. Move on to a different teacher.

I took Nazar Eng1a class for Summer 2017, he is a great professor. Don't be afraid to ask questions, he will answer them and he is super knowledgeable. I really enjoyed his class, and that's saying a lot because I've never enjoyed an English class. Be prepared to work and critically analyze your work. I definitely recommend him. He's funny too!

Comment:

Prof Nazar is very passionate about English. Loved the book he chose for us to read. Going into all my other classes I feel very confident that I can write an amazing paper. My recommendation is to just be a sponge and soak up everything he teaches you. Will be looking for him in summer for English 1A.

One of the best professors i ever had. Work was easy & so are the essays. He has a great sense of humor and is very honest. Do all his work, attend class, pay attention & you will pass. Participation is important! He is organized and extremely helpful, highly recommend taking his class!
