I really enjoyed learning from Professor Rodriquez. He provided helpful labs and excellent material that I have been able to successfully use as a credentialed teacher. He was always available when I had questions inside and outside of class. You could tell that he cared about his students and about kids.

Comment:

Rich class discussions. Listen to his lectures because he WILL call on you. Easy grader, as long as you meet certain requirements (5-7 sources, appendix, etc.) There's a paper every 2 weeks, but it's the same format so it gets easier with each time. Although he contradicts himself regarding what he wants in the paper, so always ask him the details.

DON'T TAKE THE CLASS! He makes you buy a txtbook & a packet for the class; both have the guidelines for the essays but don't agree w/ eachother. He also lies to his students & is rude if u give an opinion he doesn't agree w/. There are no quizzes, tests, assignmnts, midterms, participation or attendance pnts. Just essays with confusing guidelines.

Easy class to pass. No final, just four essays during the whole semester must be completed and part of our grade. Each essay made us 'critically think' about topics and ourselves which was helpful. Dr. Rodriguez is a real smart man but he is very biased which is ironic that he teaches the class. He will call you out in class sometime.

This class was a joke! Never again and lesson learned. He thinks he knows it all and believes whatever the book says. No test or quizzes. Very boring. He is nice however his comments were somewhat rude at times.

Easy class but you need to know EXACTLY what he wants in assignments. I.E- even if you think you've followed his "syllabus" on essays, he'll find something wrong in your work. Ask him what he wants beforehand.

Overall this class is not difficuly, professor Rodriguez is very clear on what he wants. class attendance is not mandatory but its a good idea to go just because he is very precise on what he expect on each of the four papers, loosing one day you risk missing important information. Very interesting professor overall, subject not so interesting

i liked him! He was interesting and you learn alot. 4 easy essays, no final, a 3$ book and you laugh alot in this class. He KNOWS alot & if you have back problems i recommend taking this class, he can fix you lol

He acts like he knows everything but this is the EASIEST class ever. I never went b/c it was a 9am class but he only took attendance in the beginning. He's a funny nice guy but he calls people out a lot. Don't need to buy textbook, useless and essays were merely graded on editing

This teacher is a joke. He teaches education, but is uneducated. He talks as though he knows all of the truths in the world but all he spews are lies. Pretty cool teacher, dont ask him stupid questions tho or you WILL look stupid. The final is a video game. I passed the class with an A and did fair on all the essays, started practicing for the final game a week aheadog time, & did the extra credit paper.

This class was pretty easy, but not because the he was a good teacher. There are no tests, but you have four papers. He wants things done in a very specific matter that makes no sense. The class discussions are good, but most of the time his lectures are not even about critical thinking.

This guy thinks he knows everything about everything, and he makes sure you know it too. The final in this class is very unpractical, it's a PC game and it will be hard to practice it if you use nothing but Macs in your home. The paper assignments are okay but he rehashes the requirements making it difficult to understand exactly what he wants.

The worst professor I have ever had. He thinks that he knows everything about the world, but he can not communicate any of his idea's. He takes a simply concept and makes it very hard. Dont take his class. He makes you use a 3rd grade program for points that doesn't teach critical thinking at all. How does a guy like this still have a job?
