An alright professor, he is nice. Just be ready for lots of homework and his tough grading. So as long you as you put your head into the game, you should be fine. Most of the assignments are easy, but just be aware that he's makes hard. Otherwise, he is the least strict english professor I've taken so far!

Homework. Homework. Homework. This is basically what will make or break you as far as your grade goes. Super tough grader, and quizzes us every week. Im at SDSU right now, and looking back I still thought this class was really hard. The subject itself if easy, but the professor makes this class difficult. It is doable as long as your on top of it

Comment:

Talks to you like youre in kindergarten. Confusing syllables and homework guidelines. Jumps to packet to textbook to another textbook that makes you so confuse and if you ask help, hell make it more confusing. Tons of homework like its a 15 credit class. Very strict on homework and scantron test. Gives you 30 minutes for tests.

A ton of homework and is very confusing with his teaching style utilizing 5 or 6 different books, packets, papers, etc to accomplish one task... you dont know if you're coming or going! You ask a question and he leaves you more confused. The homework is as if your entire world should revolve around that one class. God help us.

He is a nice guy but he talks to the class like if we are in kindergarten. he sounds out letters and he makes us finish a word he is saying. Like really. I had to drop that class. I thought I was in college not elementary. He gives lots of homework as if we don't have other classes or a life. He needs to realized what grade he is teaching.

Ok he's a good guy and very nice but he talks to the whole class like little kids. Lots of homework. Very specific too. Which is good and all but if you miss 1 detail, points off. All info is in the syllabus, even homework. Quizzes are easy, just study the vocab. This class is easy to pass as long as you keep up with the work.

Good guy overall, real nice. Wise man in his early 60s. Hw is easy but long and every class you just review hw or take quizzes. He goes around the room row by row for participation, class can get boring sometimes but its nothing stressful. Remember to study or get them hook ups

Good guy. Very nice if you talk to him on a personal level (kinda strict about his class). Just assigns a LOT of homework. Tests aren't hard, basically remember words and meaning every week. It's an easy class if you just do the work.

You just need to realize that the best way to pass his class is to not TALK. As long as you put your focus into the class you will do fine. Also do all of your homework even little things because he deducts points off for small things. Tests aren't hard at all unless you don't have a clue for vocabulary. Other than that he's kinda good.

He's a decent guy but he gives way to much homework that is impossible to understand, if you don't understand you are so far behind, he cares about every single little detail. For example, if you miss 2-3 questions on homework that takes 3-4 hours to complete you get a 6/10. He also talks to you like you are 3. He loves schema and ya good.

Definitely one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. You easily have about 4-5 hours of homework every single week which really adds up on top of other classes. He treats you like an elementary school student but is also very harsh when it comes to late work and missed quizzes/exams. It also hurts your grade every time you're absent or tardy.
