He was an AWeSOME prof he really did want everyone to do their best. He makes the coursework alot more easier than it really is. I love his traditional way of teaching rather than staring at a power point screen all day long :)

He is a nice person and class was entertaining, but he is so disorganized! There was very little communication between him and the other professors teaching the same course. He did not know anything about our homework assignments. He also did not know what the final would be like until the last day of class because another prof wrote it.

Catton is really funny and very eccentric. He is very helpful when you ask him questions. The only thing I hated was his notes. He writes them so unorganized on the board and he jumps from topic to topic and teaches little bits. I just used the text book because that's exactly where he was taking it from. Use cue cards

I hate chemistry and took it in the summer! it turned out to be one of my best grades! he keep it simple and made it very easy to follow! he wants people to do good and or sure gives students the tools needed to do so! he is just a happy go lucky guy! makes jokes like my dad would! he is really a great prof and person!

Made Chemistry interested who are not interested in it. Took it in summer session and he only teaches during summer as he lives somewhere in Paradise the rest of the year.

Very interesting and completely eccentric. Brings an energy to chemistry that i did not know was possible. Some may find him too weird or offensive.Managed to make class interesting and clear at the same time. Very approachable and welling to help

The most eccentric guy I have ever met. I really liked him, but some found him too weird. Don't mistake him for the janitor.
