He is one of the best professors I've had. Great class to take if you want to sit back and listen to great, interesting lectures. His grading criteria is relaxed and almost impossible to fail. Test are easy, essay is easy. Show up and listen and you've done most of what you need to pass.

Prof Colbert was awesome, he is straight forward and makes this course almost impossible to fail unless you are really stupid. His tests are easy if you just take notes and pay attention during lectures, and the homework is the best study guide i've had in college. He blows through lectures, so learn to write fast. I would definitely take it again.

Professor Colbert's class is very easy. Of you take notes attend his classes regularly, you will have no problem getting an A. All material in notes are all in the tests. Very good teacher, take for an easy A

His class is an easy A. The first exam was take home and the second we got to use a 3 x 5 index card for notes. PRINT the lectures from blackboard and fill in the blanks while he lectures.

Comment:

One of the greatest teachers I had at city. He is super cool and funny. His lectures are based off of slides that he posts up on blackboard. Some tests are take home,which is his way of tricking us to study, and other tests in class with the help of an open book at times. The class is very interesting and very EASY!

Comment:

Colbert was super funny, and his test and homework were fairly easy. If you have any interest in child development, i definitely recommend his class. The only probably i would say is that he isn't consistent when it comes to keeping in contact with him about assignments, i.e. he lost my 10 page paper, and wasn't consistent with fixing the problem

Amazing professor, I really advise anyone who plans on taking this course to take with Mr. Colbert. He's helpful, funny, and passionate about the course. It was a life changing course along with a life changing professor.

I took this class two semesters ago and have not had the pleasure of receiving such exemplary teaching as I did in his class since then. I fell in love with his methods of teaching as well as his dry sense of humor. The subject matter was always crystal clear. Would love to take another one of his classes!

I wish that I could take more classes with Mr. Colbert. He made this subject super interesting because he is genuinely interested in the subject. The class is SUPER easy we had 3 tests and 2 were take home and 3 homework assignments and one paper.If you do the homework/extra credit and follow the guidlines on the paper you are guarentee to get an A

I loved this class! It was amazing! If you do the homework and extra credit you’ll be fine, but he does tend to speak his mind and some of the comments he makes may offend people but its all just fun and games! He’s very sarcastic! I loved it!!

Easiest class ever. Lectures are boring and mostly irrevelant to the class, he even described a high school student of his that became an adult actress...even including the her name almost like a promotion. If you can deal with listening to his personal oppinions of child development, then rely on the book for the real info and questions. easyA

He is pretty good teacher and fair as well. He gave us lots of extra credit, take home test, and homework straight from the book. I think the only big assignment he gave the class was a essay about an interview we had to do from another culture. Also for the final I arrived 45 minutes late and the class was gone and he still let me take the final.

All you haters on here that say he's a horrible teacher must have failed and want to blame someone else. All you gotta do is study and do your work and you're fine. I dont care what anyone says but he has been the greatest professor ive ever had. Those who say negative things about him havent looked at themselves clearly in the mirror. He is as crystal clear on what he expects and he became an inspiration to me. i loved him as a teacher and a person so i recommend his class to anyone!!!

This was by far the easiest college class I've ever taken, but the most informative and relatable. You do need the txt book for the homework & take home tests. Follow every direction on the ethnographic study to get the best grade. It's impossible to fail this class with all the extra credit he offers. Do the homework and tests early = no stress.

i am not a college student, I am a senior in high school. I have Mr.C in AP Econ. from the things i am reading about his college classes..he is completely different to us! BUt the racial comments and how he can pick on people until they break is true. At first I took it personal but he does it to everyone. So dont break!Just study.HARD

This teacher is amazing! The easiest class i have taken but yet the most informative. You learn so much and enjoy doing it. Just show up to class and pay attention to the lecutres and assignments on blackboard and you are guarenteed an A. I would recommend him to everyone. Teachers should take a page out of his book.
