Professor Tamburro was amazing! By far one of my favorite professors I've ever had. He is funny, smart, and caring. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. Gives good feedback and gives all the help you need. He is very nice to his students. There's 4 or 5 tests, 1 easy project, and a final. I wish he could teach all of my classes. 100% Recommend!

Tamburro is so easy. The tests are exactly like the worksheets. So if you go to class and work the problems as he does, youll pass so easy. It was an easy A for me. Plus hes super kind and accessible out of class. Take him if you can.

He messes up problems while teaching it and gets off topic a lot but he's really awesome. Homework is extra credit and non-mandatory and he reviews before every test.

His class was excellent. He is live, has a lot of life expirience which makes for a ton of great stories. That being said, the lectures were extremely educational. I learned a ton and would definitely take again.

Took him for statistics and the class was an amazing experience- yes, a math course was AMAZING! Made the course relatable, was helpful every time I had a question and never a surprise on your exams if you follow his instructions with suggested homework exercises. I needed this as a pre-req and dreaded it, glad I took him though, so easy!

I took this in the classroom, not online. You must show up to every class and you must do the homework or you have NO CHANCE of understanding the Hypothesis Tests (and no chance of passing the class). Formulas are given on the tests so you don't have to memorize them, but you do have to know which one to use and how to use it.

Prof. Tamburo is awesome. In the beginning, he seemed weird. He likes to tell dry jokes which i thought sometimes they are related to the material. Test??? OMG!!! very easy. You don't have to study. All formulas are given NEXT to the problems. All you have to do is pluck the numbers in to the formula. He is very encouraged. He review test questions

I do not like math, but took him for College algebra and statistics. He made the subjects easy to understand and really gave the students every opportunity to learn the material. Definitely go to SI if possible. He was a very funny guy, very dry humor, kept class interesting.

(Elementary Algebra) After taking a few years off from college and scoring low on my PERT test, I was put into Elementary Algebra with Tamburro. He is a fantastic teacher and was able to help the class in so many ways. He's very calm and always happy. He helps you if you're stuck and definitely loves to teach his field. Definitely recommend

I thought that he was an excellent teacher. The only reason I got a B was because our research project sucked do to a member who had all the survey materials and never came to class. He was great at explaining things in a simple way and doing lots of examples so that everyone understands it. I aced every test.

Math is Mr. Tamburro's subject. I finished statistics with a solid A. He is an excellent professor. The quizzes are straight forward and reflect what he teaches in class. He goes above and beyond to make sure that any student who puts forth the effort will be successful.

Comment:

Awesome teacher! Not a math person at all but he made it completely understandable (Statistics) and a bit entertaining working through the problems. Class was quite useful which I never say about math. He's very understanding and the best math teacher I've ever had honestly. He cut me some slack a lot of times and I got a B. Highly recommend him.

Mr. Tamburro was a fun teacher. He actually gave me answers to my dilemma during the test, dont be afraid to tell him you are lost, and he might just throw you a bone. I got an A, and had to show up, and do the work, but it was easier than Intermediate Algebra.

I found him to be womderful. I took him in summer A and I am NOT a math person but I managed to get an A. Super Teacher, wonderful reviews. However that does not mean you do not have to study, you do. It just alot easier with him as a teacher. I am currently taking him for STA 2023 and he has been just as helpful. I would strongly recommend him.

Comment:

If you can learn math well on your own, you'll be fine. It's a more difficult subject for me, and the class calls for you to figure out a lot on your own. Super nice teacher, always willing to help, but it still gets confusing. Deciding factor to take it is how good you naturally are at math.
