Comment:

Professor Nguyenhuu is such a caring and amazing professor. He has very thorough lectures and makes Calculus easy to understand. He gives a lot of hw, but if you attend class he does some hw problems in class. He gives study guides out for every test. The study guides are very similar to the tests.

Comment:

He is VERY approachable and patient with people. I have always been awful at math and never one to ask questions but he made math easy to understand and was always more than willing to help answer my questions. As long as you do the homework and the study guides you should get a decent grade in his class.

He was my first math professor my first year in college and he was really helpful. I struggled with math a lot and he would help me, he was determined to help you if you honestly did not understand the problem. He accepts late work and he is honestly a sweet guy. He does give a lot of homework but if you pay attention, then it'll be easy to you.

Math is a subject I really struggle with, but thanks to him I passed the class with an A! Nguyenhuu takes his time to make sure all of his students understand the lesson and answers any questions you may have about the homework.

He's great! I never got a grade lower than 96% He's really good, it makes math really easy. I took him for math 130 over the fall, and 150 over the winter. Got a high A both times. Just keep up with the hw and you'll do good.

Prof Nguyenhuu is AMAZING and makes sure you grasp the concept. He is always around to help and wants all his students to succeed. I have failed math previously and passed his class with an A!! Show up, do your hmwk, pay attention, ask questions and you will pass! 10/10 recommend him

Professor Nguyenhuu is a great Professor! He explains many of the math steps very thoroughly. He makes it very easy to learn in his class because he wants to see you succeed! Attendance matters. If you dont show up you WILL forget the material. Theres fair amount of hw and the test are crucial but he will always guide you in the right direction!

Although you can't fully understand him, he is the best math professor at the school. Lots of homework but you truly do learn and he makes it easy! Tests aren't difficult as long as you study. I would take him again.

thee best professor! Grades fast. Hes a beast at algebra. He does not have a heavy accent. If you show you care he will care for you. Even when you might feel like giving up. He wont. If you want to get good at algebra take him. Hes nice and funny. Dont take his kindness for weakness. He expects from his student, as good professors should

Professor Nguyenhuu was my first instructor after a 15-year hiatus, and ultimately his tutelage gave me an entirely different trajectory, from C.S. major to Pre-Engineering. His delivery of each lesson is very digestible, and his metaphors pertaining to real life are hilarious. If you want to love Math, sign up with Professor Nguyenhuu.

Math is my worst subject but I did very well in this class! He assigns a lot of homework and homework is worth a lot so make sure you do the hw! Tests are basically questions from the homework . He answers all questions and makes the lessons very understandable and easy to grasp!

He is a wonderful professor!! He assigns lots of homework and his lectures are pretty long but he makes learning the concepts very easy! He occasionally moves very fast but he slows down and before tests he reviews the first half of class before the tests are taken.

Math has always been my weakest subject & I was afraid that I wasn't gonna do so well in this class since I haven't been in school for 6 years. It's a good thing I took professor Nguyenhuu's class because I have learned sooo much from him! He's caring, professional, and on point. Take notes, show up to class & do all the HWs and you will pass!

Nguyenhuu was the best! He is an amazing teacher and he is very clear during lecture. He prepares you well for all the tests and tells you in advance. He is caring and spends lots of time helping students understand. Homework and notes are important to passing. I would definitely take his class again!

Great Professor, sometimes goes a bit fast but just ask him to slow down. No problem answering questions from students, available just about all day in his office hours. If you cannot make class or need kind of special accommodation, communicate with him and he will always make it work for every student, very caring.
