I took his online class. Discussions you had to answer with 4-5 sentences, chapter PowerPoint notes, quizzes 20 questions, & easy assignments each week. He lets you work ahead. As long as you sign up for the remind app for his class he does let you know you are missing things so he can give you credit. Midterm & final combined from quizzes.

Baiz is awful at communicating. Takes his time responding and gives TONS of homework and tests! This is an awful class to take online, more like a single person fitness class. I came to learn, not evaluate myself. Do not recommend!!!

Quiz every week, 20 questions in 20 minutes, one try only, final and midterm were 100 questions 100 minutes, some questions had 3 right answers and one wrong, some questions not in book or study guides, thank god for google, HW is easy, forum questions were easy

Baiz is great! His lectures aren't too long. Reading the book 1 good time and just showing up is really all you need to do to pass. Homework is a no brainer. All online format. I was in a very serious car accident and seriously injured mid-semester, missed a lot of class and he helped me 100% to get back on track with the material.

If you don't participate, he will cut the class early. He lectured some things, then would tell you to mainly read the book. He didn't lecture very well. During his lectures, he'd go through everything fast without explaining it thoroughly. Wasn't good at responding to emails like he said he would and wouldn't help as much.

One thing people said about this Professor (Coach) was he was extremely good looking. I mean i guess, I think what adds to that is his confidence and humor. He does everything online; homework, tests, midterm, Research paper, the only thing that will be turned in physically is your final test. Thorough, rare extra credit, COME TO CLASS

great teacher very helpful i had i had him for the spring 2015 and i had to miss a couple of class and he let make them up, he will try to help you pass, if you email him he will email you fast. if you are not passing the class he will tell you what you need to pass. do you work and you will pass. he went out of his way to help me pass

Professor Baiz is disorganized, constantly messes up in directions, and very unclear in directions. The quizzes are hard and the questions have nothing to do with the study material or the main points in the book. It's honestly ridiculous that the keywords, video assignments and practice quiz material never come up with the actual quizzes.

Mr. Baiz is an excellent teacher. He is funny,helpful (if you ask) and gives out some extra credit I made the mistake of taking this class during summer, because I was crammed with tons of homework and quizzes. The biggest challenge was the final research paper. Do not procrastinate.

Mr Baiz. is awesome teacher. He is very passionate about what he teaches. Really knowledgable about diet and fitness. As long as hw is done every week you will automatically get atleast a B. You learn alot and he has a great sense of humor. Not bad on the eyes either ;) Very highly recommended

Took his online class, lots of assignments due every week as well as participation in forums and lots of quizzes and one final research essay, he also makes you buy an online software for one of the assignments. If you do the reading and do all the assignments its a pretty easy A. I did learn alot but sometimes I didn't get his grading.

A+ for this professor!! Very helpful when needed and not over your shoulder when not. Keeps you laughing and enjoying your work. Research paper was a bit steep, but if you choose the right topic, you'll have plenty to write about. If you like out of the ordinary, you'll love this class. Plus, he is really hot! :D

Professor Baiz is a no nonesense teacher & I loved it! I found the students extremely annoying. College is not elementary school. You will HAVE howework & sometimes alot of it. Baiz was clear in his instuctions, very quick to admit when he made a mistake & was fair. If you want to learn about Diet and Fitness, take his class!

COACH had a lot of problems with the adding tests during this online class. Scool has been out since 6/28 and 1/2 the students haven't taken the final because he went on vacation and the final wasn't in the folder to be taken. It is 8/5 right now and we havent taken ther final...

Comment:

Took Baiz's online class and would not recommend it. Not very helpful and assigns a ton of work. Quizzes are pretty difficult (they jump around), but the finals are easy. BTW, he prefers that you get the Nutrition Web Access vs the CD Rom.
