His lectures are not for new learners, mostly like a review but if you have difficulty he is willing to explain, there is even a tutor in the back of the room for your convenience. Don't skip a class, you WILL miss out on A LOT. He reviews homework at the beginning of class then hands out a 3 question quiz. LOTS OF HOMEWORK. But it's helpful!

Love Mr. Caldwell! He is a very good professor. His quizzes and tests are easy peasy. He is an adorable old man with a funny laugh. Make sure you study and actually do your work though! It will help you believe me.

He is a great teacher! He has trouble hearing so make sure you speak up. He is very organized and hands papers on time. He may be rude to people who constantly talk but if you talk to him you will find his goofy smile and laugh heartwarming. Tons of extra credit and drops lowest quizzes. If you want to learn and enjoy the class then take him!!

Knows his stuff, but tends to write the problem incorrectly and then try to solve it. He is a no-nonsense grader, don't expect any leniency. No exceptions and runs the class with an iron fist. But will help you when you need it. Explains problems in ways that are easy to figure out.

Comment:

Caldwell is the best math teacher I ever had. He answers all questions, very helpful, and gives you hints before handing out the test. He always give you in class assignments & quizzes to refresh your memory on previous topics because it is easy to forget without practice. I recommend this class to anyone that seem to have a hard time with math.

He's alright. His powerpoints are helpful, take notes, and do the homework. He's hard of hearing so make sure you have the patience to repeat yourself and insure that you are heard. He's very clear about his expectations and he's RIDICULOUSLY prompt in returning emails, answering questions, and grading tests and homework - that's really nice!

Mr. Caldwell is the best teacher ever. He is very organized and presents his lectures with Power Point. He begins his classes with short quizzes and reviews before all of his tests. I always had a difficult time with Math, but Mr. Caldwell was a great foundation and had a wonderful tutor. Thank you for all of your help!

He's a great teacher. Used Powerpoint & explained problems. You got a short quiz when you arrive and he gives you sample tests to do which was just like the actual test. You can pass the class with no problem as long as your attendance was good and you did the assignments. He will let you know if you are failing and what needs to be done.
