I took this professor online for English 1C. The material was extremely provocative, but he expects you to have an active mind and a good knowledge base. Unfortunately, the discussion boards at El Camino were dismal and it was more of a self study course. I would recommend taking this teacher in person especially if you would like to write well.

he does teach u how to think critically. his assignments may be hard but they really help u to THINK. this calss is different from what other classes which u can write your essays causally, without thinking too much. he is okay anyway.

Great teacher! wish i coulld take his class again. your mostly writing essays in his class, and the work is normal for any college course. plus, just going to Bob's class is a blast! class discussions are funny and intresting. He knows what he is talking about and seems to have a love for what he does. my thoughts on taking the class? GO FOR IT!
