Comment:
Weisburg is a great psychology teacher but the class does have 3 other professors that teach the course so that interfered personally for me. However, if you take the class seriously (regardless that its intro to psych) and go to the lab (your TA creates questions on the exam) you should have an A.

Had PSY 1001 with him, super easy, kind of strict on phones and is generally non-negotiable. He's straightforward, yet he's a really good instructor. The class overall was a lot of reading, yet a very learn-able class. Definitely would take his class again, not hard, barely any homework (weekly quizzes, 3 exams).

He was the first of three professors for my Intro to Psych class. For me, the first test was difficult. I for some reason could not connect with him in lecture, so that resulted in my grade for the first test not looking so hot. After his test, things showed get really easy, at least it did for me. My advice is just pay attention and go to lecture.

Great professor, slides aren't the most descriptive, but they conceptualize the concepts very well and if you go to the lecture you will understand everything perfectly. Exam was hard but do able.

although he was only the professor for the first part of the semester, he's an enjoyable professor. he makes things easy to learn. you have to read the chapters and answer questions about the chapter every week before class, but it makes it easier for the tests.

The professors rotate during the semester but Dr. Weisberg is one of my favorites. He isn't boring when it comes to lectures and he makes some jokes. He's very laid back. As long as you read the assigned text, earn your Sona research credits and study the PowerPoint slides you'll pass easily!

There's alternating professors, some were boring but some like Weisberg and Johnson. Use the study guides if they were given and you have to participate in studies but those usually go by quick even if it states that it's 3 hours. I read the textbook without going to class and passed with an A.

Comment:
His class consists of lectures which he emails you via powerpoint, 2 extremely difficult tests, 1 final paper with little guidelines, and comments about each days' readings to be emailed to him before every class. The material is interesting and the lectures are not too awful (he can be funny if not abrasive sometimes) but he is such a tough grader

His class is pretty interesting, but his test are really hard. He is not clear on what to study for the exam and the questions are long and complicated. Also had to do a paper and the requirements for the paper were unclear. Overall not a bad teacher, but could be more clear on tests and grading.

Dr. Weisberg is a very tough professor as he is extremely serious and fast paced in his lecture style. Read the textbook, complete the weekly preq's, go to lecture and recitation (take as much notes as possible at both for studying purposes since tests are difficult), and do as much work as you can to do your best.

So arrogant and refuses to listen to others reasoning for their answers. DO NOT TAKE HIM I am actually excited to fill out my student form at the end of the semester because I cannot stomach how he is even a professor

Had him for psych 1061 (which rotated between 4 teachers). Dr. Weisberg left a great impression on me during the short time I had him. He is very enthusiastic about his profession and generally comes across as a self-actualized individual. I definitely look forward to taking a class which he leads the entire semester.

Weekly blackboard postings, final paper, and a final exam. This course required a lot of reading so if you're bad at time management this may not be the course for you. He's a great professor, explains things very well and makes the material really interesting. I definitely got a lot out of this class.

This intro psych class has 4 prof, which makes Weisberg hard to rate b/c I didn't have him for more than a few wks. But he was very passionate about his topic and a fair grader. It's a good class if you want to learn a general amount about psych as a social sci.
