I graduated Bennington, later received a Masters from UCLA, and then completed law school at Boston College. I would not have been able to do any of that but for Ron, who was, by far, my most important teacher and advisor ever. A truly outstanding educator and an even more outstanding caring and giving man. I'm going to miss him greatly.

My first class with Ron was in 1978. (I graduated in 1981.) I'm still learning new things from that class and from every other I took with him. He thought far beyond the end of the term in his educational strategy. He paid us the compliment of taking our ideas seriously. He was also extremely ethical at a time when the campus culture was insane.

Ron is awesome. Initially kind of scary but awesome. Extremely through feedback and criticism and pushes students to excel. He is available to meet and responds to emails. I am so glad I took advanced courses with him even though they were by far the most difficult for me. I am much better at research and writing for it. Top notch.

I can't believe someone said Ron was "rude" and "aggressive". Ron is the most intelligent, thorough, and engaging psych professor I have ever had. I was studying Drama before I had intro Social Psych with Ron and now I am doing a thesis in psychology. He changed my life. And has a great beard. I want to touch it. He looks like Santa.

Ron has an incredible wealth of knowledge but he shows blatant favoritism and if you're not on his good side you're pretty much screwed. He's aggressive and rude towards any student whom he doesn't adore.

i have been taking ron clases for 4 years now. i think that is ron either likes you or is indifferent, which he is more than anyone would think, you are fine. but once he gives up on you, he is a **** and there is nothing you can do to change it.

Ron is my advisor. I've taken four courses with him. He is excellet in every way. The assigned readings are very challenging but interesting. His greatest strength is facilitating discussions. He's on campus 5 days/week and usually available to meet.
