Comment:
Prof. Remsburg gives extremely hard tests, and does not help students when they ask for help. He is always late for his classes, and doesn't have time to correct the homework that he gives. Although he explains well, his tests have different examples, and that makes them much harder. I don't recommend him for anyone who does not like Philosophy.

Remsburg is an awesome teacher. He made me interested in Philosophy. Highly Recommended. Just don't be late, be nice and participate. He's willing to work with you and explain things if you have a good attitude and try. He goes over hard concepts multiple times to ensure the class understands.

Professor Remsburg was pretty chill. He assigned homework but never collected however it made you understand the material very well. He gave a clear lecture, not that much notes and gave simple examples so that anyone could understand. Dont show up late to class or he will get on your case. The class involved exams only overall it was a great class

I wouldn't take any advise from someone complaining about a teacher not accepting a 5 minute late arrival. He/she obviously is not in a College state of mind. Excellent teacher, excellent subject. Difficult, but it's a university, its supposed to be. I learned lots in this class.

Worst class ever. I dreaded going. He is so boring and not helpful. He reads right out of the book. The tests are confusing and unfair. He got mad if you were 5 minutes late. I hated this class.

He is very repetitive and his lectures are really boring. His Multiple choice questions are bizarre and very vague. Luckily he grades on a curve and everyone does bad so it is an easy class. Attendance is mandatory to pass!!

Must attend class as his tests are based almost exclusively on the lectures. Very intelligent, well versed professor who is truly passionate about the subject. Multiple choice questions are difficult but he grades on a curve. Gives you the essay questions in advance of the midterm and final. Excellent professor if you're willing to put in the work.

his quizzes are confusing. you have to pick the "best answer" and it is so hard to get a good grade. His midterms and finals are the same. He gives you about 50 vocab words and more than 10 essay questions and picks 2 for you to actually write about on the exams using the vocab words. his lectures are fun but he does repeat a lot of things.

Everything seemed fine before the finals. He assigned us without lecturing an essay about Kant being awakened by Hume. Even though he gave away the question in advance, it was a nightmare to understand. On the final there was only one "A". Visit him to see sample essays they are helpful. He is fascinated by Greek Philosophy. You'll learn about them

MUST TAKE HIS CLASS! He is a very funny/interesting prof. Everything he says in his lectures make sense and are easy to understand. I think negatives were made because they weren't interested enough in this subject.

He really wasnt so terrible. The class was repetitive, which could be helpful if you dont pay attention. He takes attendance, so show up to class. His lectures get boring, and the book could put an insomniac to sleep, but he seemed like a nice guy. Oh, and the test schedule was sporatic. He tried to wait for people to understand before he tested.

Avoid him if you can. He's repetitive, goes off on tangents, and has no set grading system or calendar for tests, quizzes, and homework. With only two weeks left in the semester before finals, there are still 4 chapters in the textbook (waste of $) that we haven't covered. AVOID HIM.

If you take him, beware he talks the same things over and over and over, everyday. He simply forgets what he talked about last time. Oh, one more thing, read the little book he assignes, it is very helpful
