Though his lectures are pretty boring, this class isn't bad. Hardest thing is going to class at 7:30AM. To be successful in this class, Print the lecture notes, take them to lecture (he will add important details) and Study these notes and your lab notes for the exams. Got an A in the class by doing this. Don't buy the Einstein Exam Notes--useless.

Siders really isn't as bad as people make him out to be. Go to class pay attention and review the notes then youll be fine. Keep up with labs because theyll be questions on the exam from labs even if you havent had the lab exam. Got C's on the 1st lecture and lab test, decided to actually study and got As on all the remaining test. A's def possible

His tests are fair. He gives you lecture slides you can print out which he follows, generally, very well. He speaks incredibly slow, often in monotone, nearly impossible to stay awake unless you drink a lot of coffee. Solid guy overall, just doesn't stimulate much interest in the class

Comment:
This class is not that hard. Siders may be harder than Tillman, but this is no way a hard class. The test might be confusing for those who don't go to class, but for those who do, he uses the same terminology on the test and in lectures. Students who claim that he is hard need to get a reality check and take responsibility for themselves.

If you do the readings, and stay up on all of the material, you'll do fine. It's alot of work, but it's anatomy, so that's going to happen. The class is super easy as long as you learn the material. Tests are straightforward and directly from his lectures and the assigned pages.

Extremely boring and monotonous. Material is easy, but he makes the questions on the exams much more difficult than needed. Take Tillman if you get the chance!!!!! Labs are very helpful and a great compliment to what you learn in lecture. Attendance is not vital to doing well.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH SIDERS! Tillman's exams are far easier. Siders is boring, but does cover the material clearly in class. However, his test questions are ridiculous. I am an A/B student, and I put more effort into this class than all my others combined, and still had to drop it. Do yourself a favor, don't ever take a class with him.

I've taken the class twice. He's boring and did pretty much did the same thing twice. Some advice: GO TO LAB & PRACTICE! Lab makes the difference, print powerpoint notes and write down what he elaborates on. Lecture tests mostly class notes but also incorporates lab material. Book is mostly needed for reviewing pics but sometimes for clarification.

The worst part about this professor is the time of day that they make him teach... 7:30AM. He's not especially hard, and though his tests can be a little tricky they're not that bad. Read the book and go to as many lectures as you can force yourself to attend and you'll do just fine! He is capable of putting even the best students to sleep, though.

I took this class the summer after 9th grade as a dual enrollment student, and it was much like any other high school class. The people that did well were the ones that showed up to class and the ones that didn't were the ones complaining about the difficulty of his tests. I managed to get an A in his class as a high schooler, so it's not that hard

Early in the morning. Harder than tillman's. He gives a few hints for exams toward end of year. His tests are hard. Make sure to go to study lab. He will not specifically say but there will be questions regarding lab material on his tests, so study it.

This is an impossible class. The tests are awful and have a lot of unexpected questions... even if you memorize the text and notes like I did.

Not too bad, but his tests are unnecessarily harder than Tillman's so try to get him. If you must take Siders, use Einstein's Notes and look at the pics in the book--they help. He is very boring and early in the morning so you don't have to always go. Try to go to study lab AT LEAST once a week to review lab material or you'll truly regret it!

Dr. Siders gets a bad rep for being a really hard prof. The problem is that his class is at 7:25 in the morning and nobody goes to class. I earned a 97% in the class b/c I went to class and put in about one hour a week in the study lab. This class is not that bad if you just go to class and put some time in the study lab for the lab exam!

I never went to class, just make sure you get all the readings. You only really need to read the notes he posts online and read about whats in his notes from the book. Lab helps alot so make sure you go. Its a really easy class compared to most other science classes I have taken at UF.

I can't even explain it- I would study for days upon days and still fail. His tests are needlessly tricky, lectures are absolutely useless, and it's at the crack of dawn to boot. Don't try to email him- he'll never respond. Get Tillman at any cost.

I've never taken a class in my life where I have felt so sure of myself after taking a test and then totally bomb it. I've never studied more for any other class and I did horrible. He is way to monotone for class at 7:25 in the morning. Definitely study for the labs because they can save you. Not very helpful. Alot of application on tests.

This class is definitely not as hard as all these previous comments state. You do not have to attend class (except to get the readings). Make sure you go to lab (its where you get extra credit). Read all the chapters, read his notes from the notes you buy at University copy, and buy einstein notes. Its an easy class, just study (like any class)

Dr, Siders seems like a nice man. As an instructor, he's very boring and very early. I fell asleep in every class. His tests are MUCH harder than Tillman's and he's more boring. Try to get Tillman if you can, even if your schedule doesn't work well with it. This class is not like highschool anatomy- it's VERY hard.
