Dr. H knows her stuff. Her class isn't the easiest because she teaches it like we already know something about it. She is willing to help you as long as you put in effort. since research is mandatory and shes the only teacher you can;t avoid is, so just be prepared to work.

Comment:

This professor is very unprofessional and irresponsible. She makes a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, which isn't appropriate for a communications teacher. She never gets anything done on time, such as posting tests. She is not very approachable and she gives speeches on how her students are irresponsible. Takes one to know one.

She's really great. People that don't pay attention or visit her during office hours wont do well - but it means you arent willing to do well in the field. She has a lot to teach, has worked in a lot of fields of PR and helps head up the Graduate Program --- so shes an amazing contact! Take her!!! You'll laugh and learn a lot.

Gets distracted easily. Can't communicate thoughts well. Messes up on tests and has the gall to think we were the ones that didn't know the material. Teaching skills are lacking. I have no doubt she's a smart woman, but not a good professor.

From what I've heard, there are easier professors to take intro with but I loved Dr. H overall. She is very, very knowledgable about PR and you will learn a lot! Sometimes she wasn't too clear on what she wanted from us, I don't know if that is because she is used to teaching advanced and this was intro? I hope to have her for advanced in spring!

She is an awesome professor and will help out any student as much as possible. She knows a lot about public relations and will do her best to make you understand it as well.
