She is a very rude teacher. Her communication skills are terrible and she gets mad at the class when nobody knows what she was trying to say. She gets frustrated easily and flips on a dime from happy to angry. It is obvious which students she likes and doesn't like so try to be on her good side. I'd say only take her if there are no other options.

Honestly I don't know who the professor is that some of these people are talking about. Prof. Sarig is one of the most caring professors I have ever met. Honestly, talk with her a little, engage her and she will be your favorite professor ever. She is clear about what you should read and write. Listen to her tips and write like she wants you to.

Prof. Sarig is great! She does reply to emails, I don't know what these other people are talking about. All she expects is for you to try, she is available to help during office hours and even through email! One of my favorite English professors ever! Take her!!6

By far the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. Took every single opportunity to dock down points like it was her only way of feeling powerful in life. Graded unfairly. People with poor papers often got better grades than amazing papers like my own. My amazing papers were never good enough. Final was the only thing she graded well, 100%.

She is always willing to help if you have a question, and she is very willing to write you a letter of recommendation if you show her you deserve it. Just make sure you turn in the work. Its a fairly easy class. She does mark down for little things but its never too many points. Just check your grammar and you should be fine. Go to her office hours

She's a great person but her grading is really tough. I would turn in a paper feeling very positive and accomplished but she wouldn't like it. Her class is fun, she tries her best to keep the class talking and communicating. The only bad part is her grading.

She is an extremely hard grader. She marks off points for everything, one little mistake and she'll knock a few points off. She's mean at first but she'll losen up as time goes by. You'll learn a lot. She could be a nice lady but she gives attitude at times but she's chill. Buy the book because you'll need it. One big project at end, simple & fun

Thought this would be an easy A english class like my last one, but wasn't at all. She's a very hard and precise grader, I didn't get an A on anything I turned in. Very serious about each assignment but does not negotiate with grading or if you believe you deserved a better grade. Don't take her if you're looking for an A.

If you want to pass english and don't mind getting a B, take her. She does care about her students but she's a hard grader. There are a couple books you have to read and write essays on. She doesn't give a lot of hw. She kinda scared me at first but when you get to know her she's really nice. she has favs though so be ware.

She's pretty nice. She cares about you and that's why attendance is mandatory- you're only allowed to miss three classes. The class is based on readings and essays. It's not too bad. She gives group assignments too. She's not easy but she's nice. Not completely fair in grading but decent.

Do NOT take this professor if you're aiming for a 4.0. She seldom gives out A's. I was present at every class, completed every assignment, and I usually write A papers. She gave me a B. She is very nice and cares about her students but she is very reluctant on giving out A's. You have been warned.

Class was FAR TO EASY! The first time my paper was due, I had a flu the same week,so I was half asleep when I wrote my paper the night before. And guess what i got....100%! A+! This might be nice for some people, but this became a pattern....half ass a paper, get 100%. NOT good for college...So if you DETEST English, take this class if you need to.
