Took Kitakis for both AP1 & AP2 for my nursing reqs. All tests come from his own powerpoints and from lectures. Gives bonus points for extra grade boost on lab exams. It was the easiest AP classes I've ever taken. No doubt there is A LOT of information. Read and study and you will pass with flying colors.

Dr. Kitakis's course was so straight forward. Memorize his printed power points, show up to the lab classes, and don't skip on the studying. I finished this course with a 4.0 with 10-15 hours of studying per week. Don't slack on the studying for his first exam. Many students in my section nearly failed the first lecture exam due to lack of studying

All around great professor. He gives you all the info you need in order to pass. We barely used the book. He's clear in his lecture and always available to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend him.

Professor Kitakis is amazing! The class consists of 5 lecture exams, 3 lab exams and points for lab attendance. Never used the textbook, exams come straight from lecture notes. Professor Kitakis explains the material extremely well, he tells you exactly what to study. He is also funny, super laid back and overall a great professor. Highly recommend!

Super funny, straight forward, and very willing to help you understand material. Anatomy is a dense class to take, but he is very through and all he asks is that you attend (and don't leave early haha). Makes sure you have lab books labeled correctly and reviews everything. All around great teacher.

Professor Kitakis is hands down one of the best. Your grade is based on 3 lab practicals & 5 lecture exams. All straight from the lectures & labs, which he explains incredibly well. I never opened my book after week one. He's a funny guy that keeps the class laughing. You'll need to study, but having him as a prof. makes all the difference.

I loved having Frank as a professor. He is old school where he writes everything on board even after having everything on handouts. The best part about him is he loads study guide and all notes on blackboard. You really don't need to take notes.. just listen. He's very funny and not bad looking. Just study all the handouts and you'll ace his class.

Overall was a great professor. All your tests are straight from the PowerPoint he puts online so you don't even need the book. Labs are a breeze and is very helpful. But you need to study and do good on the tests! There is only 5 lecture exams and 3 lab exams so if you mess up it can cost you.

Kitakis is a pretty funny guy and a real straight shooter when it comes to the class. Study your behind off and you'll get an A. I got a 4.0 but studied A LOT, like 15-20 hours a week, on top of working full time (it's doable). If he writes it on the board or it's on his handouts it WILL be on the test. So no surprises, but TONS of material.

The class itself is difficult since you need to memorize a lot, but Kitakis gives out handouts that literally have everything on the test. He doesn't give homework, though. Your grade is based on test scores (lab and lecture) and he gives you points for going to the majority of labs. I really liked him though!

don't recommend taking him. Gave a weeks notice for a test which needed at least two weeks to understand. too much to memorize and once. Starts new sections for the next weeks tests before fully finishing the previous sections. not really needed to show up and waste your time when he makes you print out the powerpoint when you can look over urself

If you can't afford the book right away, don't sweat it. You really won't need it until you get to 238. He gives you handouts for every lecture that has all you need to know. Study the entire package and you will pass with an A. Very knowledgeable of this subject. He will help you with any subject and answer all your questions. Awesome & Smart Guy!

Best A&P instructor! There's 5 lecture exams, 3 lab exams and lab attendance points given. No pop quizzes or homework. The material isn't easy but his delivery makes it easy to digest. Pay attention in lecture, utilize your time wisely in lab & you will pass this course. Didn't read the book but handouts + notesexam.

He makes such a hard subject so much easier to learn. No homework, lots of studying, lab is always fun and interesting, & NO POWER POINTS! (:

Mr. Katakis is the best A&P instructor I've ever had! He makes the material easy to understand and fun to learn. I had him for the accelerated 7 week A&P course and it was a lot of work!! However, if you're willing to put in the study time you can get an awesome grade. If you take good notes along with his hand outs, you don't even need the book.A+

Kitakis is amazing! No PowerPoint, you only take notes on exactly what's going to be on the test. He also gives handouts and objective outlines, and I never touched the book. To top it all off, he's hilarious :) Wish all teachers were like him!!
