Dr. Hightower is an adequate professor. His lectures can be boring but the assignments aren't that hard if you're competent enough. He's one of the more laid back professors in SBI. Contrary to what other reviews say about him he's not that bad. He just has a tendency to get smart with you if you ask questions. Participate and you'll pass.

He's not a bad professor. His lectures are interesting sometimes but as far as learning for the tests you will have to put in the work yourself. He uses mymarketinglab so you will have to buy that and keep up with it because he will not tell you when assignments are due.

Dr. Hightower is really connected to the information in his lectures. The class consists of written assignments & online tests. As for the tests, you should outline the chapters beforehand so that they are easier. He also gives some extra credit opportunities. Overall, you will learn and pass the class if you put in the effort.

I don't know why everyone gave him such a low rating. Hightower is HILARIOUS, he can be a little cocky sometimes but that's just his personality. If he likes you then that's it, you will get an A. It was a bit confusing on what we were learning but it is an easy A just don't get on his bad side.

I would recommend taking his class. The book is required to access Course Compass, which is needed to complete the Online Test. Online Test are easy because you can use your notes and book. Do the extra credit, assigned work, and participate during class. Also, ignore his attitude and smart comments. I got an "A" in his class by doing the above =]

This guy is cool. I would take him again for any marketing classes. If you just some of the work you will get a 'C'. His reviews are just like his test. So pay attention on the review days. Very easy to talk to.

bad teacher.doesn't care about students.I got a b in the class because he said nobody can get all of the participation points(would have gotten an a).please take someone else if you can.he didn't like me because i asked a lot of questions.i am going to report him for being unfair to students.he also looses assignments that you hand in to him.avoid!

This man has an attitude problem. If you ask a question that he sees as stupid then he will make fun of you in front on the whole class. He has mood swings and is very cocky. overall, this class was a waste. You have to read the textbook outside of class. He goes over the chapter in class but not enough to understand. He gives hw through email which is confusing b/c no one knows when and how to navigate through his website.
