Awesome. Tests straight from the notes, no need for the book whatsoever. Easy tests, but you actually learned really cool stuff. I love her, and her class was always interesting. She's funny, which makes the class better. One of my favorite classes my first semester of college.

She was my favorite teacher during my first semester of college. She is very helpful. Attendance is not mandatory but her tests come straight from the notes she gives in class, so go and you will get an A

Elam is an awesome teacher. She answers questions and makes the class interesting by putting input and encouraging discussions and asking questions. Her tests aren't hard - as long as you attend class, pay attention and take all her notes, you'll be fine. Everything in her exams are based on the notes itself. If you have questions, she's there.

GREAT TEACHER. LEARNED SOME REALLY INTERESTING STUFF IN THAT CLASS. ELAM MAKES THE CLASS INTERESTING AND WORTH THE TIME. IF YOU GO TO EVERY CLASS AND TAKE NOTES YOU WONT EVEN NEED TO READ THE BOOK OR STUDY THAT HARD. EASY A CLASS AND FUN TO GO TO.

I thought Professor Elam was great. She was fun and personable and always made class interesting. Class was easy and tests weren't difficult as long as you attended. Easy A. Definitely recommend this class and professor.

Great teacher, relatively laid back. Just go to class and listen...study the day of the test and you'll do well. ..and if you do have questions, shes pretty accessible.
