Comment:
Professor Harbaugh is an extraordinary human being. He has a true love of the cello and fascination with exploring its nuances and capabilities. Very caring about his students and does his best with every single one. He expects his students to be self-motivated and doesn't tell them what to do. Calm, relaxed, teaching style. Happy, humorous, man.

He's an interesting teacher and a fabulous cellist. Some of his ways of explaining things are far fetched and confusing, but he always manages to get what he wants out of you. I definitely got better just over one semester

When I started studying at UM in '96 I could barely play...I left an accomplished cellist (got my masters at Eastman and played in New World Symphony). Ross is the best!!!
