Comment:
Epistemology can be a drag at times. However, Dr. Wahl does a great job of explaining the material and making the issues relevant. There are two take home tests (really papers), a presentation, a final paper, and a final exam. Be sure to read the material and come to class with questions. This class is required for phil majors but can be rewarding.

Incredible knowledgeable, gives you everything you need to do well in the class. Good lectures, and good study guides, but be ready to put in some effort. Come prepared to class by reading. If you don't understand something, ask questions. Lectures can be a bit dull if you aren't into it. Maybe bring some candy to keep you awake. Learned a lot.

This man is amazing. Brilliant professor with a passion and flair for philosophy. If you don't like the subject you may not like his class. If you major in philosophy, you will learn enough to get his inside jokes and understand why some people believe him to be... different. If you don't learn from him the onus is on you.

Oh my you have to read 20 minutes a day to stay caught up!!! Welcome to college little boys and girls. This professor is fine, he loves what he teaches and is more than willing to help you outside of class, and you will probably need it. Philosophy is inherently strange so read, go to class, take good notes and ask questions and you will be fine

Professor Wahl is really quirky. You can tell he has a passion for philosophy and is VERY knowledgeable about it. The only thing is that his lectures can get pretty boring. You should go to the lectures because they are very informative, but be prepared with a good amount of caffeine first.

Has got to be the longest hour and 15 minutes EVER. Essay exams were killer. But he's very helpful if you go to his office--he'll explain everything a million different ways until you understand it. Imo, going the extra mile to see him after class is the only way to get an A.

Wow. Dude is crazy! He's fun to watch but so hard to follow. His class takes forever! The test we took was not too bad- he gave us a study guide beforehand and pretty much put the questions verbatum on the test, but his handwriting is illegible, so if you miss something, you have no idea what you did! He's frustrating.Good luck wtih this one.

Do not take any classes from this professor. Literally the longest 45 minutes I've ever spent in a room. All students in my class had the same sentiment--the class was a waste of time. NOT an easy waste of time, but an hour of pointless babble that you WILL be tested on. Essay tests! Difficult, demanding readings are required daily. Save yourselves

An excellent, though demanding professor. Probably knows more overall than any professor i know. Don't expect to get weak or obscured filler arguments past him.

Has a tendency to talk really fast and go off on tangents that you probably won't find interesting unless you already have a PhD in philosophy. But he will do everything he can to help you if you ask him for help.
