Comment:
Class moves very quickly, and the grading system is not weighted in the favor of students. 90% is tests and 10% is homework. You get a ridiculous amount of homework for not much credit. Tests are typically 6 questions, and one question is worth a third of the test. She is available for office hours, but not very helpful.

Tough grader, difficult subject material. Not the best at explanation but not bad either. Very easy to reach by email or office hours and usually pretty helpful as long as she's not too busy. Tests are hard, lots of homework.

If you have any interest in renewable energy this is a great class to take. Dr. Miller is always will to talk and will teach you a lot. If you choose to do the lab then there is a pretty large workload associated.

Comment:
Hard class. What she talks about in class, whats in the book, the homework in the book, and the problems she puts on the test don't match very often, making it difficult to understand. There's gotta be an easier and more comprehensible way to learn this material.

Comment:
EM Theory is hard. Pure and simple. With the way she teaches, it was difficult to understand some of the more complex sections. Most of the time she presents subjects clearly, then phrases them on the tests fairly and clearly. Difficult, fun class.

She doesn't really explain what she is looking for in the assignments and she grades against you if your opinion differs from hers (even if you support your opinions)

She's a very good professor, people who thinks she's hard generally have no idea what they're doing in the first place.

Impossible. Had to find a person who understood what the hell was going on and sponge off of them. She is without a doubt, the worst "teacher" in the electrical department at KSU.

Be ready for 15 hours of home work each week. She doesn't teach the basics very well and assigns impossible problems. I am avoiding her at all cost. According to K-State she fails an average of 30% of the class. Then approximately 30% recieve a c.

I just don't know. She does know what she's talking about but it is hard to wade through what she talks about.
