He only accepts assignments hard copy, which is fine until you're down for a week because of the flu. Your assignment will still be considered late and your grade will reflect that. He can also be a bit condescending but I don't think he's doing it intentionally.

Very good professor. Professional, courteous, and engages the class as a whole. I really had little interest in HR before this class, but I got a huge amount of personal insight into my own life from it. Really excellent. Plenty of reading, class discussion, and papers, but they really are designed to help you grow as a person. Highly recommended.

He is such an easy grader. This is an easy A class. He gives you 3 assignments a midterm and a final. Take the take-home exams they are very easy, although I hear the in-class are easy as well

He used the same readings from the Human Resources class, which was NOT helpful and very boring. I met with him outside of class to discuss my lack of research and he had no helpful hints. Then during my presentation he offered some ideas for research. Hey, that would have been nice to know when I asked you for help a week ago! He is not focused.

This is by far, the worst class experience at SPA for me. This class is not what it is advertised to be, it is mainly on race and its impact on organizations. Avoid this at all costs.

Agree with the other post. If you study, you will do well. Class was sometimes boring and the readings were not challenging. Wish we had done more case studies.

Great prof, encourages discussion; Assignments are pretty easy. Some students complained b/c they thought they could wing it on the exams. You will have to study, but if you study you will get A's! Oh and he tells you what's on the tests ahead of time (only 2 tests-midterm and final)! Very interesting topics, too. I loved this professor.

This was HR management, and focused on affirmative action, race relations, etc. My main prob with him is that he spent about four classes on race relations and about half a class on sexual harassment. He's not knowledgeable about women's issues and not receptive to contrasting opinions. So, so prof.

The class was suppose to be on organizational theory! It turned out to be a class about RACE and organizational theory. His grading policy is good, but expect to do an extrodinary amount of studying for the class.
