She assigns all this work, and expects you to teach yourself and figure out how to do the HW. When you come in the next day to ask her to assistance she has issues with the HW not being completed, and puts you in groups so another student who is clueless can "explain" it to you. Needs to teach.

She is just plain scary. Attendance is just like grammar school--miss her class and you're scared to walk past her that day. She knows the material, but demands more self study and preparation so that actual class lectures aren't very helpful.
