She is a very sweet lady and is willing to help anyone. She accepts late work all the way until the very last day of the semester. BUT she requires A LOT of field trips which can be a pain if you have outside responsibilities OR class after hers. She is very serious about these trips and it is a realy hasstle fitting it into your schedule.

Beckwith is extremely passionate about art so, she expects a lot from students. She gives great feedback and always has time to help you individually. Beckwith may appear difficult and unorganized but is great after a while. The class consisted of multiple field trips that culminate into a final project. Put the effort in and you will pass.

Professor Beckwith really cares. Her classes aren't easy, she gives a heavy course load, and sometimes she can be extremely sweet and sometimes a bit vindictive. You just have to be sincere in her class and with your work and she will give you an A. I've actually learned a lot from the classes I've taken with her.

Avoid! She is all about the arts and it's a tough professor (as expected from any teacher) her class was okay. As a person, she has her days where she wants to be nice and days where she treats you like crap! Moody professor, many times I was too scared of her tempter to even ask for help.

Being in this lady's class was torture. I specially hated the museum visits and reading the textbook. I liked museums before the class but after spending a Friday night at the MOMA I grew to hate them. =(
