Amazing professor! He really challenges every single student to excel and reach their full potential. Only people who want a free ride would complain and should probably drop out of college altogether. Hardest course I've ever taken, and the most rewarding. I got an A, but it didn't come easy. Absolutely worth the effort!

I owe so much to this professor. he is definitely the best teacher I've ever had, he really believes in you and makes you want to achieve great things. If all teacher were like him we would be living in a much better place. I got a lesson in life in this class.

If you want your writing skills to improve,take Dr. Freeman.Yes,my GPA droped, but Iâ??d do it all over again. What I learned was worth my drop in GPA. You have to do the reading;you canâ??t get away without it.Start on your essay exams immediately.He seems like he is a rock but he is actually very passionate about his work and wants to help students.

By far the most demanding course I have taken; He combines a progressive grading scale along with a tough-grading policy that actually helps you develop better writing skills. Best and most useful class I have ever taken. For all those Anti-Freeman students out there, don't waste his time with incompetence and grow up.

Dr. Freeman is a fantastic professor! Anyone who wants to learn and gain a true understanding of Political Economy will enjoy his class. Your grade will not be handed to you but if you read the material and listen to him during lecture, writing the essays will not be too difficult. I absolutely loved his class.

I took him for political-economy and it was very a challenging course. But don't let that discourage you from taking his class. For the first time in my undergraduate career, I felt like I was actually receiving an education. Professor Freeman allowed students to think outside of the box as all other professors should. Great class, great professor.

Dr. Freeman is one of the few professors at UTPA who actually makes you think and learn. This professor is difficult if you can handle the reading material and criticism you should be fine. This class is a great challenge for anybody who thinks they know everything. Start your essays immediately and read the material before you attend class. Good luck.

He is very , hard. He only does essay exams . All he does in class is talk about his political views , my friends got no higher than a "C" on his essays. Worst professor I had at utpa and I'm a senior , he will drop your gpa in a class of 40 , 20 stayed the rest dropped.And you will have to go to writing center for 5 hours a semester

This was way too demanding for an entry level course. He goes off on tangents all the time. We were required to have three books for this class, but didn't get to the last two until the semester was almost over. This professor seems to think his students are retarded, and he has a very narrow world view. This makes classes difficult to sit through.
