Comment:

Class is a typical online math class, it was a lot of work for a summer course, but that was expected. Prepare for 3-5, 30 question assignments a week. Prof Lanoue was incredibly easy to reach out to, she responds usually within a few hours and she offers office hours. Definitely recommend this teacher for online for that reason alone.

She is awesome teaching math! Yes you will have homework almost everyday but it will prepare you for the quizzes/tests. She gives a lot of extra credit. She doesnt like students to show up late constantly and she may appear to be strict, but she is not. Just do what she tells you and will you pass. She will even help outside the classroom.

Sandra was an excellent professor. I had taken this class twice before, one in class and one online, and I struggled. I finally took Sandra's course this last semester. She emails you every week with reminders of what is due, she gives a chance for extra credit for every exam, including the final. If you need this class I would take her.

She is a great instructor! You would not regret taking her. She gives great lectures and is specific. The way she teaches makes math seem like an easy/simple subject to pass. She can definitely change people's perspective of how hard/ confusing math is !! Which ever math course you plan to have her as an instructor, she will make it easy for you

I took Basic Math/Beginning Algebra. The material is very easy but you are doing a lot of work in this class. if you aren't doing homework every day you will fall behind very quickly. If you need both of these credits take this combined course. Like I said it's very easy material. Just be prepared to work.

I took her online College Algebra class. If you complete all your assignments by her goal due dates, you will be golden. I'm terrible at algebra and passed. She is excellent at returning emails and making sure you understand the material. Pay attention to announcement updates because she does extra credit.

Miss. Lanoue is a great teacher. Shes easily accessible, gives PLENTY of extra credit, plenty of homework assignments and quizzes. Gives you every opportunity to make an A. Lots of homework but its good because it makes the quizzes and tests really easy. Her study guides are literally the test itself. Put forth effort, get an A.

I took her online college algebra course and the work load is very heavy. You really need to pay attention to the videos and TAKE MANY NOTES. There is a total of four proctored exams and she gives you partial credit to score the best as possible. There are many quizzes but the actual homework portion is not mandatory. overall hard but bearable.

I've always been just ok/decent at math but professor Lanoue helped me understand it much better. I actually took her for online math and did horrible, I highly recommend not taking an online math course. Not a ton of homework but an average amount and she will go over problems on homework and exams with the class if needed. Very helpful professor.

Took College Algebra and she actually wants you to know your stuff. She constantly tells the class to stop by her office if anything doesn't make sense or if we need help. There's manageable/ not too much homework at all. Does review in class before exams.

Amazing professor. She is very knowledgeable on the subject and writes problems on the board for every section. Goes over problems slowly and will repeat problems if you don't understand them. Tests are not hard if you study, and she will give study guides for each test. The study guides are relevant and have the same types of problems.

A nice lady. Loved the study guides she gives for each section to write notes on. There is a lot of work but nothing too terrible. Do all of the assignments and you will be just fine when finals come around. I would take her if you find math difficult because she explains step by step, and she trains you on how to use your calculator.

Sandy is a great professor. She really wants you to understand the material and be successful to move on to college algebra. She is no-nonsense, and very focused on making sure you are paying attention but that's because you need to pass the final to get into college algebra. Very friendly and approachable if you need help though.

I took Mrs. Lanoue for online College Algebra. She was very helpful and encouraging and the extra credit opportunities were very nice. She is very fast at responding to emails which is always a plus for online classes. She gives test preps before every test which helps a lot. I would definitely take one of her classes again.

I was going to drop this class because I thought it would be too difficult, but now it's the end of the semester and I have a 94. You definitely have to work for it, but Mrs. Lanoue will always help you out. Class is boring, but you have to go if you expect to understand everything. I would recommend her to any one!

Comment:

She is the best math teacher!! If you don't think math is your strong suit I would so recommend her. She has handouts, videos, and gives examples before class. Whats on the notes are pretty much the homework, quizzes, and exams. Once you are done with homework you get to leave class unless you have further questions. TAKE HER YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

She is a good instructor, very easy to follow. She does examples in class and welcomes questions. Homework is done online. She gives study guides for tests and goes over some of the problems in class that students ask her to. Its a lot of work but if you do the work and come to class you should do fine.

I had her for College Algebra and I would definitely take her again. She has handouts you can print from Blackboard and then fill out during her lecture. Decent amount of tests and quizzes but if you ever need help, she'll go out of her way to get it to you. Also, don't buy the book. You won't need it.
