CMPE 273: I liked taking his class. Gives very clear description of what he want for the project and lab works. His tutorials are very good and easy to understand. There will be a lot of lab works and get to learn a lot. His grading is very fair. Doing well in the class project is very important. Final exam is all from the slides.

Operating system concept CMPE142 is useful for thoe in software arena. Professor tries his best to make class interesting with lots of pop quizzes. The NACHOS project for Gard and Windows project for undergrad helped to understand various aspects of OS. Need to have the project printout in the report to proof execution.

Whips through the publisher provided slides. Assigns projects dealing with NACHOS, even though he has no idea about them. Your only source for NACHOS help is online or from the TA. The quizzes/midterm/final is pretty straightforward. The project grading deals more with how well you can write a lab report than your actual code and functionality.

He grades you according to his personal liking rather than your actual work. Cry in front of him or praise him a lot...he melts. Knowledge is limited but acts as if he knows a lot. Be careful during his Final exam...very tough. Don 't ask him Questions on Nachos...he has no clue.
