Professor participation in discussions were consistent. Brought current headlines to class discussion and expanded on the direction of the discussions frequently. Quick with feedback and grading. Caring and fair. You have to do the work for the grade but, the support is there. Would take another class with Dr. Coffey.

I would say I liked studying on the website a lot. I was like a game! You just want to score more and get the highest mark possible. Sergia asked many questions during the discussions. Although there are no extensions in forums, I liked this course, and I would take more sources with her. Just be ready to quizes

Tests + hmwrk are through graded textbook's website, technical difficulties were an issue and she has you contacting the company, meanwhile ur waiting to complete the assignment. Rarely involved in discussions, youll survive if you already know the gist of the material like i did. one book was marked optional to purchase, she said it was required.

I cannot understand why ESC pays this woman to instruct when all that she does is NOTHING. I would give the software we used called Aplia a higher score than her. She does not interact with students at all. I really question what the qualifications needed to be an instructor at ESC. Shame on you Sergia, and shame on you ESC.

While I like the professor as a person, I don't really enjoy taking this course. In High School, I took Econ and it was alot more interesting than this course. I was also top of my class in it. When I take this course, I don't feel like the professor is really passionate about it, nor does she seem to create creative assignments.

In the beginning I struggled a little but after some conversations with the professor, I haven't got below a 90 in weeks. Book is very easy to understand and the discoverecon has great videos for clarification on anything that might not be understood. All tests are taken from the discoverecon multiple choice section.
