Comment:

Nice guy but he doesn't TEACH anything. He has powerpoints that he "lectures" on but it's all very vague compared to the practice, homework, quizzes, and tests. The whole set-up of how the class works is odd. The book doesn't really help either. It's like what is being said/read is a 200 level but the assignments are a 300 level. SO FRUSTRATING.

Requires online tests to be proctored using Proctorio (which almost never works), students broken into 2 groups for discussion boards, have to post answer and each of the 3 replies on different days (total of 4 days) to get full credit. Never seen that done before because it makes no sense. God help you if you take him in person.

I was scared to take microeconomics online just because I know it can be a confusing class but instructor was great at setting clear expectation and promptly answering email questions I had for him. Definitely recommend him for microeconomics.

As an online student, I am not impressed. Incredibly UNhelpful. Organization of his class is horrible - too many links to click to try to find assignment turn in areas. Links usually broken! Doesn't respond to email or other online communication in a timely manner; if at all. Avoid his instruction if you can!!

Mr. D is a good teacher. He is very helpful and wants his students to succeed in his class. There is a lot of hawk in this class but as long as you do them on time and study for his test you will pass. He is also very understanding and has good passion when it comes to teaching Macroeconomics. He provides power points for every lecture that he does

I thought Mr. D. was a really good instructor. He has a real passion for what he teaches which I think is important in an educator. The class itself was hard for me, as it was the first Economics class that I've taken, but Mr. D. was available for any questions or concerns.

Great teacher when I needed assistance which was the entire semester. The problem was not the teacher it was the subject Business Stats I really struggle to understand. I am a nontraditional student so more stress added to find the extra time to study etc.

Mr. D is GREAT!He breaks everything down..relates it to real life..you will need to read the book a little but after lectures you actualy UNDERSTAND what you're reading..others kept falling asleep in class..IDK what to say to that..I followed along just fine and never had a problem.He has an accent but it was never a problem..overall great teacher!

I wish Shahpour could teach all of my classes. Even if you don't do well on all the tests he gives other assignments to help pull your grade up. He was very kind, fair and made every class interesting. You can tell that he loves teaching.

Awful guy. Needs mental help. Admitted to wanting to see apyschiatrist. Favored so called smart students. The thing is the few that were smart had taken statistics before. His accent makes him hard to understand at times. Seemed homophobic although I'm straight! Took the course at MU. Only good thing is his rubric is designed to pass you. He sucks.

very sweet man, helpful friendly and patient. He breaks it DOWN. HIGHLY recommended for business statistics. I wouldn't have made it without him..he's clear and concise.
