Dr Maselli class was average. I struggled a bit because she grades hard but if you do all of your work you will definitely pass. I took her class online and I passed but she is a tough grader so dont just turn in any type of work. Try your best and you will pass for sure. Also gives a lot of extra credit. No textbooks just about 3 reading books

Dr. Masellis class can be very difficult if you struggle with English but her methods do encourage you to become a better writer. Take advantage of her extra credit opportunities because they add up and WILL help your grade and writing ability.

She is a very sweet old lady who is serious about English writing. She won't pass you if you do not learn how to fix complex sentences, run-ons and so on. She has an assistant named Andrea. She is very helpful, go to her tutoring sessions

I have struggled and reached out to this professor since day one. She was not very helpful. I have asked how can I bring up my grade, her response was the class is not that hard. I felt she couldn't speak for everyone when you say that. I will not recommend her for those who have a learning disability. I wish I never took her class.

She's really easy, just make sure you complete all of the assignments and you are guaranteed to pass her class with an B or better. Also take advantage of her extra credit opportunities because at the end of the semester you will benefit a lot from it.

She's an awesome Professor. Just do your work and you will pass. Even if you don't read a lot as long as you understand what you are writing and what she said expects of you there's no reason you should not pass.

This class wasn't that easy However the professor offers great feedback and a ton of extra credit to boost your grade. If your papers aren't that great the online assignments/ quizzes and extra credit really maintain your overall grade. She really encourages you to become a better writer and understand your mistakes.

She is a great teacher. She shows she care about you understanding the material and is willing to go over what you don't understand. She gives a lot of extra credit work so their shouldn't be a reason why you don't pass unless you don't do any work

She is not helpful in any way. I have emailed her many times for help on my assignments and she has not yet replied to them. The first time I asked her for help, she gave an attitude. If she really cares about her students like she says she does, she would not give students attitude and not reply to their emails.

Although Dr. Maselli is an awesome teacher, her class is VERY demanding! I made the mistake of taking it online... DONT DO IT! Take her on campus class so that can ask as many questions as you need. She's very busy and sometimes doesn't answer emails or post grades in a timely manner so it doesn't let you know how you're really doing in the class

Professor Maselli use to teach at CSUN and she had such an impact on me and my future that I'm going back to school to earn my Masters in Creative Writing. She introduced me to so many amazing writers, I will be forever grateful. Degrees earned: English & Art, taught high school art for many years and now I'm ready to teach English. Thank you :^)

Class wasn't bad at all. I liked the essay writing because she lets you choose your topic. Class discussions were fun and interesting. She is thorough about what she wants, but as long as you correct the mistakes she points out in your essay your grade for the rewrite is garuanteed to go up. I got a B in her English 101 class and I enjoyed it

She is a very thorough instructor, and she will critique the hell out of your essay. But if you are eager to learn she is really helpful especially during her office hours. She does not like to have interruptions during class especially "Cell Phones". If you do take the online English 102 class I recommend that you go to her office hours weekly.
