This professor is great. She has very clear grading criterea and if you have any questions you can always ask and she will gladely clarify. She takes attendance but she is very lenient. Overall she is awesome and I would take her again! 2 easy tests 2 easy debates and 2 projects.

Weekly quizzes on textbook that majority of the class would do terrible on bc questions/answers wouldnt be clear or would be ambiguous/obscure ones from the textbook. Luckily in grand scheme of things theyre not worth much. One 10-15 pg paper. Gave ec worth 50 pts. Attendance graded. Presentation on paper. No final. Last two wks is presentations

Regret missing one class because I was totally behind after. She is so organized, stays on schedule, syllabus helps, SO ORGANIZED, I cannot stress this enough. Nice, smart, challenges argumentative thinking. Like 2 homework mostly worked on 3 main debates/speeches. If you enjoy Coms you'll love it.

Easy A. Had online quizzes and speeches. Online quizzes have unlimited amount of chances and it takes the highest score. Speeches were easy just follow the grading rubric.

She is an awesome teacher. 2 tests, 2 debates, and a paper. I got A's on all my tests and 100% on the debates. The test are easy and multiple choice and the debates are easy. I recommend taking her. Easy A and she is super nice!

Very interactive learning. Most classes are dedicated to explanation and demonstration of terms, attendance is mandatory. Very easy going with grades, she's more concerned that you're learning and understanding conflict resolution. She's a kind lady :)

Great teacher,interesting class. Case studies every thursday-easy, but repetitive. Miss two classes and start to lose points. Easy/interesting lectures and class discussions. 2 simple papers and easy tests. Definitely recommend!

She is a good teacher, easy, class is never boring. Helpful, kind, constructive, easy grader on debates, and she wants you to succeed. If you need help go to her office hours and she will help you. I recommend her.

Professor Peterson's actually one of my favorite professors at CSUS. She's extremely kind. She never puts down your ideas. Instead, she enhances them before you prepare speeches. She offers to write letters of recommendations too! I got an A in her class. Overall, Prof Peterson's a 10/10.

Professor Peterson is a very fair, nice professor. Her assignments were graded fairly and she did not have unrealistic expectations from students. I had her for Comms-116 and the class was great. I would recommend her for any communication class you can get into.

Classwork is a breeze. Speeches are also very easy (2 individual, 2 group). Lectures are pointless- I didn't learn anything from them. Prof Peterson is incredibly enthusiastic and kind.

She has no knowledge on intercultural comm. Grade is based on coming to class, one paper & two exams.I dont think she even read some exams and just gave them passing grades. extremely easy if you dont want to learn anything & sit in class for a few hrs a week.

She's a very nice teacher just do your work and make sure all assignments are on time she doesn't like late work. If you do whats expected which isn't much you will for sure to get an easy A. This class has helped me especially since i'm not big on speaking in front of people but she made it simple and easy.

Prof. Peterson is such a sweet & soft-spoken lady. She wants everybody to do well & learn alot. The lectures, weekly quizzes & 2 papers all stem from the textbook! It's fun because you get to choose your research topic, but they are time-consuming papers! So START EARLY! (She does walk you through the entire process tho, so don't stress!) :)

Not just a teacher but a friend. Had 2 classes with her and decided to pursue ComS as a result. Always willing to help. At times, lectures a little vague, but if you ask for more info, she always expounds. Definately take for ComS3, Try and take for ComS 100B if she is teaching it.

Lectures are very quick, sometimes only 10 minutes. They can be hard to understand, though. Class is essentially based off speeches and the 5 homework assignments. Reading is not essential although she assigns it. No final or tests.
