This was a horrible experience. This is INTRO to Paralegal yet she acted as if we were supposed to KNOW this stuff. NEVER EVER received a grade on ANY submitted work except for 1 test. STILL dont know any grades received for homework or even the FINAL. Overall grade in the class was a B. Many of us were left confused and felt that she didnt care.

lot of reading and research on your own, pay attention in class & stay alert, take tons of note, doesn't teach much unless asked a question, waste too much of class time as if our time is not as valuable , cancel classes often and waste the first 15 min of class in nothing she is too busy too teach, hardly give you your grades back, felt lost

Professor Jacobson is the BOMB. She knows her stuff, she is there for you when you need her to be, she is a fair grader, and she respects the law. In addition to running a law practice, she knows her stuff very well. She is there to answer questions and expects participation.

Agree with prior post. She?s too busy tooting her own horn to pay attention to students? concerns. Even if your work is above average she may deduct points if she doesn?t agree with your views. Ask why, if lucky to get a response, her answer is just because! Those pumping her ego get A, if you plan to earn an A be prepared to fight for it.

The Instructor doesn't give a due date in advance for class assignments to be turn in, but often miss class and submit due dates on the day of class that created problems for students to turn in assignments, and pregraded students poorly with conclusion before all assignments has been submitted for the entire semester. This was an online class and students' postings show students that are in a constant state of confusion about what the assignments are, when they are due, and if they are being done correctly. She is a very poor communicator who often responds to emails from students with little, if any clarifications to their concerns.
