Although she knows the content very well and her notes are very good, she often goes off on tangents that have little to do with the topic in question. Very friendly, always willing to help.

Sheila is a really good teacher. She knows her stuff, and explains things clearly in a way that is interesting and simple to understand. She is very helpful in her office hours, and she tells students exactly what to expect on tests, which fair and relatively easy. Don't buy the Geo 112 textbook if you plan on attending all the classes.

Shelia is very pleasant both in class & office hours. Her lectures are interesting & organized, but she doesn't post notes on Moodle. That being said, her exams are insane. Everyone thought they did very well, but the whole class bombed. She doesnt go into a test knowing what answers she wants, and it shafts everyone

Sheila is a nice teacher and very enthusiastic and the course but I would not recommend this class if you are not interested in geography. Her tests are very hard and the labs are quite confusing if you do not understand sciences very well. Overall would not recommend using this as a lab science.

Rly liked Shiela. One of the most chipper people I've ever come across, very analytical mind, very kind, completely dedicated to ENSURING you understand. Notes were absolutely clear and precise, which made studying easier in spite of the huge amount of complex phenomena covered. On that note, BE WARNED! The class ain't easy. But Shiela is awesome.

I took this for a Q credit and happy I did! There's a good variety of assignments that helps you learn the material and stay interested (way better than writing papers) very helpful and passionate making it easy to come to class. You need to go to class to do well. This made me miss math and science and want to take another geo with her!

Nice prof, hard course. Very flexible on her office hours and wants you to do well. Sometimes gets irritated with questions but means well. Sheila wants the best for her students. Do not take this course if you are a slacker!! Coming from a slacker this course is difficult

I took Weather and Climate with Shiela. She is very nice and willing to help. I struggled with this course having little geog or math background. Make sure you stay on top of all homework and assignments. They can be a lot of work but are necessary for a good grade. I would recommend her if you have a passion for geog.

One of my favourite teachers at Cap. Extremely helpful and flexible. Don't take her class expecting it to be a cake walk, because it requires work. Having said that, she has a "no man left behind" approach to teaching and is willing to put in the effort to help you if you are. Tricky tests, but fairly easy labs.

I am not a fan of Geaography. I took this for a lab science credit, and I do not regret it at all. Sheila was great and keeping me interested and helped me care about the course material. She is an outstanding teacher.

Very friendly. I do not recommend taking this course for the lab credit, found it to be quite demanding. But work hard and ask questions and you'll do fine.

Do not take her class if you intend to slack off. If you're interested in the topic, then she is a great teacher. You must make sure not to miss a class because the notes kinda don't make sense when out of context. You also need to study hard for tests and exams!

She is amazing teacher, she keeps class exciting a fresh. The contents of this class can be difficult, but she makes it easy to understand. You must DO EVERY LAB and never miss a class, and always ask for clarification and you need it, and obviously that is a guaranteed A.

I found this course super difficult, but then again, I didn't take it seriously. Shiela is a really lovely person and extremely helpful. I really liked her, but her notes are really confusing when you read them after class. If you are someone who asks the teacher a lot of questions, or is good at teaching themselves, I'd recommend her.

Sheila is AMAZING! Arts students think Geog is an easy science credit and it's not, but put the work in and it's you'll be fine. Sheila is easy going, very open to questions, pretty clear in her answers, NEVER makes you feel stupid and is super nice. She is passionate and a great teacher. Also textbook is ace!

This is not the easiest course. Her exams are fairly difficult as there are lots of explaining. Her talking fast certainly did not help and most of her jokes are not funny. The good news is that labs are fairly easy. Only take this course if you have great interest (or wanted to learn) in meteorology and weather otherwise choose something else.

Great teacher. I have no interest in geo what so ever and do terribly on the course but have managed to stay afloat in her class so far. Talks a little fast at times but other than that she runs a relatively well class
