This is the most confusing class ever. The average midterm score this semester was 2/5. Yep, you read that right. For finals, my group mates all got 1/5 but somehow we still passed the class. He doesnt use canvas accurately so you HAVE to email him for a grade report. Hes super nice in person but grades extremely tough behind your back lol.

Please avoid this professor if you have the chance. He is incredibly unclear, has no sense of direction, and seems to have no standard for grading. The grade consists of a game simulation, participation, midterm, and final. He expects work and tests to be done on things he never taught and grades harshly. Do not recommend.

Took this class my freshmen year. It sucked it was a friday since it was a 3 hour class. Rodan is very helpful when you email him. Some material was unclear and the t.a's dont help much. It gives you a good idea of business. Final was based on alot of quizzes taken online.

Professor Rodan the class really easy. Attending his class is not mandatory but highly recommended that you go to each class meeting so that you don't miss out on major projects. You still have to work hard in this easy-A class. Often times, he can be confusing in his explanations. The overall homework is really easy.

Rodan responds to his emails really fast. His homework, quizzes, are even extremely easy 'cause there's no limit as to how many tries you can do them. Plus his grading scheme is whacky so it's practically impossible not pass with an A or B. Downside, it's hard to understand him in class. Majority of the lectures were boring.

Very very helpful and responds to emails on Canvas very quickly. Does most of the activities on Canvas. Know how to use Excel and Word well. Lots of times his in- class activities have a lot of bugs and worth a lot of points. He's really nice and British

Definitely not an Epic class. Leaves a lot to be desired for. Business game is a joke. He does not explain the rules. Find people that have taken this class, get their notes. It is a sure way to score well. Everything else is not important.

Dude does not care what you think. Plays favorites and ignores the rest of the class. Assigns the most useless readings that he writes himself. Gave us a project and didnt bother giving feedback on it. Terrible grading system so take it with someone else!

Take this teacher is all you want to do is listen to a pompous, cocky guy from england B.S. the entire class. Your grade is based on likeness in the class room, that's it. If he likes you automatic A, if not--- good luck. Waste of time if you want to learn something.

Yea, don't bother with him if you can help it. There was a cool simulation project that was fun. But the lectures were ridiculous and requires active participation or else your grade suffers. Midterm he was VERY unclear what he wanted-for prep he stated he didnt know what to tell us to study!!! Final wasnt as bad, but still. Go else where!

I take back an earlier negative post about love and happiness. It was immature and ignorant of me which I apologize for. Everyone has their bad days, I must have caught at a bad time. Honestly he's a good teacher, just understand his lessons which he makes sure you do, and you'll be fine.

If you want an A in this class, then you must be willing to regurgitate everything that Rodan says. My friend took the class with me; she never studied any of the cases, and had me brief her on them. She would sit in class and repeat everything that Rodan would say, and she got C's on the exams and an A in the class. He definitely plays favorites

Simon Rodan makes you think about the successes and failures in the business world. Perhaps the best business class I've taken, his tests were difficult but he works with you if you give him a heads up. If you really want to learn and think, take him, if you want to get an easy A and not work, don't bother.

Prof. Rodan is a very nice & energetic guy. His class is quite enjoyable and you can learn a lot of useful things. But he can be rather unclear as to his expectations and changes things quite frequently. His mind is 10 places at once which is amusing. His tests are very difficult, I failed both the midterm and Final but got a B thanks to the curve.

He changed the requirements so many times during the semester that everyone had a lot of questions about whats due and what he expects of us. Midterms and finals are a bit difficult so go to class. Only buy the case book since that's the only thing that is important.
