Dr. Malos is a great professor. He facilitates conversations on HR that go beyond just the basics. He is a tough grader, but he loves to help students. Don't be afraid to go to his office hours, not only will he help you succeed, but your participation grade will reflect your efforts.

Clearly an academic. He has almost no tact and his class is hard. He doesn't really teach, he just mediates discussions from the readings. I would say avoid him, but he is the only one who teaches the capstone class. His critiques are hardly constructive in spite of what he would have you believe. Do yourself a favor and switch majors to avoid him.

Dr. Malos isn't a bad professor. He does give out a few HW assignments, but it's nothing you can't handle. He is a tough graders, knows the material he teaches, but does tend to go of topic. 3 Midterms (take home), 1 Final essay paper (be sure to be prepare).

I really enjoyed this class. His lecture style is very conducive to learning. He has so much experience with law and business that he's able to turn complex ideas into easily understandable anecdotes. Be prepared to rad case studies and discuss them in class. This isn't an easy A, but it is an enjoyable one.

His 159 class was the hardest HR class EVER. I feel so proud to have gotten a good grade in this class. The group project is the hardest part about this class so start early and show him that you really care about it. I never felt so much anxiety about a class until I took his. Everyone survives(pass) his class though. Just do what you gotta do.

Malos is one of the hardest HR professors. With that said, it is not that difficult to A's his class. He is very picky when it comes to formatting papers, but provides clear guidelines. The presentation is the hardest part of the class, so make sure you find your study early and go to his offers hours frequently to deliver a quality presentation.

If you do your readings and listen to his lectures you should do fine on the exams. When it comes to studying follow his lecture outline and make sure you fully understand the topics he covers. It helps if you annotate it during class because you can use it on the exam. The LRP is not difficult just follow his guidelines.

It's a tough class, but you learn a lot. All exams were take-home, and the final is a legal research paper (this will make your break your grade). Dr. Malos is very strict so make sure you follow all of his directions! If you're willing to put in the hard work, you will do well. I got an A.

Seems very intimidated at first, but his class is not bad. He provides take home exams &many extra credits, so feasible to get an "A". Be sure to buy the txtbook early for the FIRACTS. He's a lawyer and rly knows his stuff. Be sure to follow every single of his guidelines, esp for the legal paper. Overall, his class was very informative & enjoyable

Professor Malos is a good professor. However, you must make sure that you follow instructions on every assignment down to the last detail, he is extremely picky and grades hard on all assignments. If you follow his directions--it is definitely a very passable class.

This is not an easy course. Doctor Malos is extremely picky with his assignments (AKA hard grader) with that said, it is not super hard to get an "A" just follow directions! I personally liked the class.

Prof. Malos knows the mateiral really well, he used to be a lawyer. Only problem is the clarity on assignments. He is VERY SPECIFIC on how he wants papers written and formatted. He tries to help you out the best that he can. Also there is a big law research paper at the end of the semester.

I had no interest in law before, but came away from this class with an appropriate and informed managerial grasp of it. Really really great intro, great book and assignments were quick, but perfect for nailing the concepts. Best prof of the SJSU MBA program so far, with great class planning and discussion.

One of the most challenging classes but one of the most important. Prof. Malos uses a graduate curriculum in this law class but it definitely prepares you for grad school and pretty much makes your other undergraduate classes like elementary. ASK QUESTIONS AND PARTICIPATE IN CLASS! Trust me, it will help you learn the material much easier.

Instructor really knows his stuff. if anyone can teach you about law it's him. He does have a tempor and hates being interrupted when he talks. He does ramble alot but puts the content in a way you can understand it. exams are all take home and no final. A big project is required in the end though
