Dr. Roach is an amazing professor. She is VERY organized and printed out a syllabus including a day-by-day with what we were doing every single class meeting. She had everything laid out to a T and was very clear with what she wanted from her students. She gets to know each student personally and genuinely cares about you. Amazing woman. Love her.

Dr. Roach is a PHENOMENAL teacher. She's passionate, cares about her students and is available anytime to help. She is a hard grader BUT she will help if you ask. She is friendly and warm and makes learning Rhetoric palatable. I'm just sorry I didn't take her courses sooner...I HIGHLY recommend her as an instructor.

Dr. Roach makes rhetoric easier to understand. I didn't have a high interest in rhetoric before taking the course, but I came out quite knowledgeable. Attendance is mandatory because it's a seminar, but she gives you 2 freebies. The 2 big papers are allowed extensions until the end of the course to ensure "your best writing." She's pretty flexible

Good Prof, very clear on what is expected. Rambles now and then but always smiling and class is open forum. Keeps reading about writing to a minimum- which is awesome. Honest, good natured feedback on papers. Attendance required, work load is small. I would take her again, no question.

This class is pointless. I hate going and regret not dropping it. The papers are pointless, the way she explains is unclear. Her methods of teaching are extremely confusing and unhelpful. I would advise anyone to not take this class.

We read that stupid Joseph Williams book and it was torture. She's exhausting to listen to. Your grade suffers if you miss class, and it took A LOT of will power to drag myself there.

Dr. Roach is a great teacher. I didn't like one of the books she choosed. You will write ALOT! but you write a lot in life, at least w/ her, you'll know how to do it right. Class was VERY boring, she wrote comments about every one of my writings and she appreciates it if you respond back to her comments, but she'll always respond to any questions.
