His class is very simple, even though it is chemistry. He will tell you exactly what you need to know. As long as you study and participate in class, the work is easy. He will explain the labs for you in detail and will help you understand anything that is confusing. He is also very corny, but funny. No homework unless you need practice.

Heard nothing but bad about Organic Chemistry before going in. Steve was awesome and was not reliant on powerpoints like most professors I've had. He wants class participation and injects plenty of humor to keep you awake! As long as you do ALL the homework you should be good. Its still an intensive class so be ready to prepare but loved the class!

I took Steve for Orgo 1&2 and got an A in both. He's an amazing at explaining things in a way that makes sense. I'm taking biochemistry now and it's like orgo on steroids but I'm somehow acing my exams with Steve's help replaying in my ear "kick it in, kick it up,kick it down, kick it out". Do ALL the hw & understand not memorize. Strongly recommend

I would take him again for sure. Four tests and a final, drops lowest one. he has a review day before each test and goes over pretty much whatever you want to see again. Never makes you feel dumb for asking questions. Parts of chem are hard but he wants you to pass.

Professor Steve was amazing. I have taken a different Chem professor and really liked the way Steve presents the work. He doesn't use a book. But you can print the chapter notes before class, and it helps a lot. He is very approachable, willing to help, and likes interaction. Of course you HAVE to do the work to pass, Chem is not an easy course.

Gives great lectures and explains things in class but as soon as hes done and says thats it for the day, dont bother trying to get extra help. Hes more worried about getting out of their than you understanding the material. If you need a response within a couple hours or days via email, good luck. Not quick to fix grades if a problem was right.

I hate that book was online. If you mis class you better get notes from classmate. Its strictly power point lecture, but he covers all materials. Make sure you do the weekly quizzes, they can be difference in an A or B. he is passionate about the subject.

Ive taken him for two different classes and I love him! He is very clear, straight to the point and easy to talk to. He is patient and likes when you interact with him. He is passionate about organic chemistry and makes it easy to understand. Highly recommend him if you arent lazy & willing to do his optional homework. Definitely helps for exams

Chemistry for liberal arts is an easy course but Professor Milczanowski is hilarious and he makes the lectures interesting. Dont take this class if you plan on majoring in science though!

He was a good professor. The quizzes were easy. Before the test, he will review the chapters. Homework is not required, but if you do it, that is helpful to your test. He taught a little fast to me. Try to take not carefully.

Great Teacher. Class is not difficult, homework is not mandatory, and the tests are not impossible. By paying attention in class, studying the day before the test and skimming through some of the homeworks and turning in labs on time I got Bs in his Orgo 1 and 2 classes. His number 1 rule for lab is "Get out as fast as possible"

Professor Steve is really nice, he is easy on grading and due dates. He gives out and goes over pretests which is really similar to real tests. He calls on students sometimes during lectures, but if you don't know the answer, he will give you hints.

Lecture makes everything clear. This makes homework doable. Tests are just what tells you to expect. This does not mean the tests are super easy, you still have to study. Easy grader on labs.

Steve is a good guy, sometimes he can explain things a little fast but he's very approachable if you need to ask any questions. Seems to have a real passion for chemistry and has been teacher for a long time, pay attention closely to him calling out potential test questions, do you homework to study and go back over those and you'll do fine.

I took him for chm1032C. It was my first chemistry class and it was pretty difficult at first but he explains to you well if you ask. Little details matter on his tests and lab reports and he takes off points if you don't put it in and that adds up and will decrease your grade. Don't worry though, his class wasn't the most difficult class I've had.
