I loved Robar as a person but as a professor he was very confusing, his lectures were very hard to understand and his tests often did not match up with his lectures. Be prepared to read the book throughly in order to do well on the tests.

Amazing! Dr. Robar really cares about his students and does anything he can to help. Personable and nice, theres no reason to be scared to ask him for help. Theres lots of assignments in this class but theyre manageable. No exams! Participation is required as well. He hogs a lot of class discussion time, but hes only trying to help.

Took the course in the Summer. He is a nice human being and very helpful. However, for a 6 week summer course 22 assignments in 6 weeks is a little bit unrealistic. I suggest in the future either offer the course as a 12 week course or shorten the loan or only offer it in Fall and Spring terms. Other then that he is okay.

Dr. Robar is an exceptional teacher and a great man. Participation is graded, but he doesn't force you to participate, so you have to make the effort to do so yourself. He understands that we're all humans and other things come up and lets you turn things in late if you ask for an extension. Just don't make a habit out of it.

Very smart man and extremely willing to help. Greatest personality I've ever had in a professor. Will help you in any way he can and go above and beyond. The tests are difficult but if you study you will benefit because he gives generous curves. Lectures are long and off topic, no notes in class. All reading from the textbook. Great Professor.

He's a very bright man, and down-to-earth. So long as you do your work and know what you're talking about you'll be fine. The midterm and final exam are essays. If you ask for an extension he will give you one and you can still get an A. He also sometimes allows people to present at the environmental studies retreat in lieu of an essay.

Fantastic professor. Incredibly knowledgeable and fun. He was very intimidating at first, but have an open mind and you will be surprised at how much you can learn.

is fair if you flatter him, he likes to talk circles a lot and makes it hard to get help since he just likes to hear himself talk and doesn't really answer the question

He's got a big ego - if you pay him extra respect - it will show in your grade. He likes the student's attentions.
