Awesome teacher! I found his way of teaching rather hilarious. He uses nothing but constructive criticism so be ready for that. He is definitely a professor I would recommend if you want to succeed in life. He will push you and it might hurt in the beginning but improvements in your class will result over time. Just be strong in this class.

This guy acts like he hates young people. He does love himself however. HE wrote his own textbook(B&W, didn't really say anything I already didn't know) and is generally mean at all times. Class is not comfortable at all and all he does is babble. Avoid this guy at all costs if you really care about your education. I hate comm now.

Don't EVER be late. Every class contains a lecture about life and not about the subject. If he doesn't like you, expect nothing less than a B- and you still have to work for it. And if you miss a single part of an assignment, you will fail. No if, and, or buts. Plus his "experience" is very dated.

I would love to rate my "professor" who wouldve thought that in school he's a strict teacher, giving ridiculous assignments daily and throws a temper tantrum when their not completed but outside of school he's not professional at all. Calling customer service ranting and raving about a newspaper really?? Professionalism= zero

All the comments about Mr. W being very talented and a good teacher are correct. Unfortunately the constant temper tantrums, ultra rigid rules, and retaliation have outweighed everything else. He's been complained about many times but GV doesn't do anything about it. Avoid him.

Unless you do every thing perfectly you will not get an A in this class. You've got to: *Be ready to write down your assignments and double check with a friend because he never hands out assignment sheets. So you'll most likely to forget to do part of an assignment. *And be early, because he often starts right when class is scheduled or earlier.

Mr. Winzenburg is very knowledgeable for radio-tv classes. He teaches, conducts research, and writes textbooks. Really good professor and extra nice person. Excellent lectures and great with career preparation advice.
