Comment:

Oh god. This has to have been the worst class I ever took. A Production Studio where we produced almost nothing. The class spent the semester working on a Point and Click adventure. There are 19 people in the class, and it's a PROGRAMMINGDESIGN major. No dedicated art majors, no motivation, and teacher missed half the classes. Avoid at all costs!

Comment:

Was great for GDD1 was critical of some project ideas but only because the students didn't take time to really research or pitch game correctly. Lots of reading, sure but often draws exam questions straight from the main ideas of the passages not the little details. Easy exams as long as you mildly pay attention

Often too critical about student ideas and projects. Canceled class FIVE minutes before it started (8am class) TWICE. Horrible communication skills and is often biased towards women.

While I understand Game Design is a new and upcoming field, that should be no excuse to teach it like one. We were required to buy 4 textbooks; one was barely referenced on the exams. He procrastinated grading. He cancelled class twice (one time 14 minutes before class). His lectures have little focus. Do yourself a favor and avoid this professor.
