Professor Whithem is a good professor. He is passionate about the subject matter and has as fair grading system. Make sure you stay on top of the work and don't think you can breeze through it. The only issue I had was the day I gave a completely correct answer and he (in)corrected me. T.

i LOVE this professor! he's funny, easy, makes the class enjoyable, and i enjoy going to his class every MWF. (even though it's at 8:30am) take him, you won't regret it!!!

He's energetic and his love for the hospitality industry is contageous. If you are in this field he is an excellent source for networking. He got me my job and he makes an effort to invest in a personal relationship with any student interested. He is simply a joy to be around, and very helpful

took him for hr & culture class and cuisine.Not much homework, attendance mandatory, have to study for tests but he gives you everything in the notes from class. He'll let you out early or cancel class enough that you don't mind going. He's entertaining and keeps your interest. Dr Whithem is very helpful with job hunting too! Overall, Great teacher

Whithem is awesome.. He is soo much fun and a little crazy but in a good way!! He has helped me out so much and helped me get an awesome internship which turned into an awesome job!!! Definitely take and definitely talk to him a lot !!

I had Withem for a class called Culture, Class, and Cuisine and I though it would be boring (it met general req.). I was suprisingly interested. We ate food from all over the world and talked about how other cultures celebrate with food. Good class!

He is the best teacher i ever had. I had him for about 5 classes and is my advisor and is incredibly knowledgable in the hospitality industry from years of experience. He is always available and definately an asset to the college
