Professor Kaufman is great. Make sure you show up and do all your work. There are a lot of papers due but they are pretty interesting to write about. Made my first semester a breeze.

This professor is the best who has ever taught at Nassau Community College. He had guided me through two english corses. College should give him an Award.

There really should be no negatives as said before. Professor Kaufman was a great teacher. The work is as simple as doing it and receiving a good grade. Overall I would have to say, professor Kaufman did a great job of teaching us more of not only the English language but lessons to lead a successful life

Professor Kaufman is a great professor. He is understanding and caring. He give back good feedbacks. He give a reasonable amount of assignments and essay. Most essays was really interesting to write. He does not get on your case about it. He believe that it is our responsibility to hand in the work on time or as soon as possible. He is easy to talk

There should be no negative comments about this professor. He is very reasonable and in my experience EASY. Its a summer class so you should expect a lot of work. Don't be LAZY. He doesn't get on your case about any work that is due. Before this class started I was nervous because I thought it would be so hard but the hardest part is waking up! Lol

Comment:

Very understanding. He sits down with the students and helps them with the thesis statements, introductions, and conclusions. I even took English 001 with him last summer. Great Professor!!!!!!!!!!! The student who wrote horrible things about you has a lot issues and hiding a lot of pain. This student needs an attitude adjustment and to grow up.

Very clear on what is supposed to be done. Gives you the assignments and does not get on your case on when it should be done. As long as you hand them all in you should be fine. Great professor.

I don't understand why any student would say these things about my professor. He is an excellent professor and treats everyone failure. Maybe the student was afraid he was failing. I don't know. Prof K is awesome. Take his class. The summer classes are tough because they are three credits and much writing is to be done.

He likes to repeat himself. He does not stop talking. Always plays pointless videos on Youtube. Also he gives a lot of work and expects you to finish it quickly. All of the essays are lengthy. When you are trying to do your work he is constantly talking and playing video. When I like to work I like to work in complete silence, but not here.

He was like a father figure to me, he and I talked sometimes after class about life and things like that. The type of person I'd describe him as is someone who's approachable and well-grounded, I ended up switching majors and I've never been happier since, wish I took his advice sooner. He does more for you than just pass the class, he's great.

i took this professor back all the way in 2014. still to this day i remember his class and just how much it helped shape me. take his class its worth it! hes not hard, he does give great feedback, very caring and easy to talk to. yeah he gives homework. it has no due date ( well end of classes is due date) this class teaches you to time manage :)

Professor Kaufman focuses on one thing many professors do not focus on and thats for you to become a better person, writer and student. Yes, he is an easy grader but because of that Ive had more confidence in myself and in my writing. I highly recommend taking a class with this professor!

Professor Kaufmann an" educator" that cares about effort and quality of work you turn in. Knows how to speak respectfully to his students. Being a returning student is not an easy task and somewhat uncomfortable. Professor Kaufman treats everyone equaled, gives his students confidence. Raises the value of NCC. I rate him an "A" !

Comment:

All professors are educated to teach indeed, but not all are able to do so. Prof. Kaufman is part of special group who is not a product of what was learned in school, but rather of what he taught himself along the way. The utter passion with which he teaches is felt through and through. He is fair, non judgemental & well respected by most.

Professor Stuart Kaufman wears his heart on his sleeve and does everything to help each student succeed in his class. His command and competence of the subject are remarkable as is demonstrated by his eloquent communication skills. I strongly suggest that you sign up for his class, you will not regret it. I really enjoyed this class, he is an excellent professor and you don't have to worry about having a difficult class. The assignments are not tough, but you can learn a lot by doing them. I would recommend this teacher again.
