Great Prof. Is intense and likes to get into the lecture which students enjoy. Although I found Econ 101 a drag he was able to make me appreciate the Micro Theory. Go over his notes, and do his practice questions and the tests will replicate this. Also does not curve his class so easy to get a higher letter grade.

Amazing Econ professor! Lectures are fun and informative. You need to go to class though or you'll be floundering.

Clear, concise lecturer. No textbook (or assigned readings that are tested), but attendance is mandatory. No math, but lots of writing on exams - ESL students be forewarned. I found the class relatively easy: just take good notes, memorize them, do the practice questions, and repeat.

He ia absolutely the best. He knows how to teach, he is funny, humble, and helpful. He really is the best and not relatively, but as I mentioned earlier, he is THE BEST in absolute terms.

This man is a god among men. I had little interest in macroeconomics prior to his class, but he opened my eyes to a very elegant method of analyzing human behaviour in the aggregate. Go to class, or you will be lost. HIGHLY reccommended.

By far one of the best profs I have had for Econ so far! He gives clear notes and is precise and thorough. You will have to go to class otherwise you will be lost. Text book is ok...but his notes are better. Quite a difficult class but he makes it very interesting. As he likes to say "None of my courses are easy"

I love Stuart! I came from a different background and I do not find econ courses easy, but Stuart seems to make the material fun and manageable. He is always willing to help after class or if you make an appointment. He is also very cheerful and seems to know his stuff! One of the best profs I've had at the U of A!

One of the top 3 economics professors I've had at U of A. This class was outstanding and put things in a far more useful light than 482. Would without question take more classes from him. Don't skip class or you could be doomed though.

Genius in economics. Great lecture notes - only problem I had was the assignments didn't fully reflect the lecture notes, but the exams did. If he posts review questions, do them all because they are the exact type of questions on the exam. Very clear and concise lectures, and always in his office if you need help.

The best prof I've had. Clear, concise, extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful. You can't miss a class because they are crammed with new material. If you like economics, you will get a lot out of this class- whether you like macro or not. Don't take it unless you are willing to work hard.

Landon was dazzling in this class. Very articulate, interesting and funny. 60% final though which can work against you just as much as it can work for you.

Just plain good prof. Gives excellent lectures, exam questions match up with what was covered. Extra readings not critical, but often interesting on their own.
