You are only graded on the 4 exams you take and your attendance, so no filler assignments to boost you up or help learn material. He says just know the lecture content but definitely actually read the chapters. There is terminology from both that will help you succeed on the exam. Do not slack off! Go to lecture and 100% review it before next class

I had Stuart for all three A&Ps and really liked his teaching style. He gives you links to his lectures, which I HIGHLY recommend reformatting into a Google document and adding to/editing it during his lecture. He sticks to the information he covers in his notes and lectures for his exams and won't try to trick you like the other instructors.

Stuart is great, but this class is no walk in the park. He grades the class based on four exams and nothing else, and the tests are not easy. I got an A but only after spending more time studying for exams than I have for any other class.

Straight forward and clear expectations. If you don't go to class, you will not pass. He keeps things entertaining. Record the lectures! Difficult, but doable if you put out the effort!

Stuart is the best A&P teacher. Straight to the point, doesn't want to trick you, makes sure you can apply past knowledge, makes himself available whenever its convenient for you, keeps you awake in class with his voice and funny sound effects, cares as much as you care, and has a crazy amount of real life experience in the field. RECORD LECTURES(:

He was a really fun professor to take for summer. Though some might find him inappropriate/not "PC", his additions made the class enjoyable for me. To do well on his tests, ask questions when anything seems unclear both BEFORE and DURING the test. Test questions can be tricky - pay attention if he repeats or emphasizes certain terms in lecture.

He is loud and straight forward, and generally the tests follow what he lectures, so studying from the powerpoint makes it you can succeed. There was one test he did not go off the powerpoint like he said, and the class had a difficult time. It's no cake walk, but if you study a lot and record his lectures you will be fine.

His lecture style is loud and booming. He stands up in front of the class with a yardstick to point and yells material at the class. His lecture slides are outlines, they're difficult to study. He'll write one word on the lecture outline but talk about it for 20 minutes. He is not an effective teacher. I have to retake the class with someone else.

Awesome teacher. A&P is tough but Stuart makes it fun and easy to grasp concepts. Tests are straight forward, but make sure you REALLY read the questions. Lectures are long but he won't put something on the test that he didn't discuss. Recommend recording lectures. Highly recommend.

Loved his class, but was one of the most difficult. He doesn't give you notes, RECOMMEND RECORDING HIS LECTURES and then replaying them and putting them into flash card format. I barely touched the textbook, and only recorded his lectured. Everything he says in class is on his exams versus the textbook. STUDY WHAT HE SAYS YOU WILL PASS

Stuart is a flat out good teacher. He is good at communicating difficult topics in understandable ways. The class is 4 exams and the exams can be vague at parts. I'm amazed by how flexible Stuart is to help students outside of class. Also, if you like learning in a quiet environment, don't take Stuart, or bring earmuffs.

This guy knows his stuff. The class is fast paced and there is a TON of information. I missed two lectures due to getting sick and being in the hospital early in the term, and ended up having to drop the class because I just couldn't catch up because I missed out on so much valuable information in the lectures. He really did try to help me succeed.

I breezed through Biobonds, but struggled with this class only because I personally don't do well in a 3 hour long lecture setting. Stuart talks fast and loud, and the lectures are critical to passing the exams. That being said, Stuart makes his expectations very clear and will go to the ends of the earth to work with you outside of class.

Nurre will go above and beyond if your willing to put forth the same effort. We have met with him at Starbucks multiple times to study. He uses great examples. But if you won't put effort into this class prepare to get low grades, your no longer in biobonds. AP series are the hardest classes you will take. RECORD LECTURES! And you'll ace it.

Great Professor. He tells you what you need to know in the lectures but its helpful to go back through the textbook because he may go fast on some essential concepts that may be on the test. Four midterms that weren't cumulative so that helps break down sections for tests. I enjoyed learning from a professor who actually knows his stuff.

Stuart is a very, very good teacher. It is clear that he is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and he likes to relate things to the real world so you can understand examples. He is very funny as well. This is a very hard class and you have to study your fanny off but an A is possible. I took him for two A&P classes. He is very helpful.

He was the worst teacher I have ever had! his lectures are disorganized! His notes don't help and he really doesn't help you at all! I didn't pass this class with him. I absolutely would never take him again. Also visual learners stay away!

By far the best instructor I've ever taken, especially when compared to the professors I had while completing my undergrad. This is a tough course but it should be if you want to be successful in the medical field. His clinical knowledge and applications are great and he's so knowledgeable. I wish he were a nursing instructor!

Best Anatomy teacher at Lane! If he does not mention it, it will not be on the exam. Very straightforward grading and happy to help if you have questions. Great sense of humor and his voice does tend to carry, so recording lectures is easy. The Anatomy series is no cake walk but work hard and you will do fine, he is fantastic!
