Coach is a really nice guy. He cares about his rowers and takes rowing very seriously. He may yell but its not personal, its just to get things done plus you get use to it! GO UTC ROWING!!!!

Oh coach. He is such a character. He is loud and he yells, BUT he is really funny and can teach anyone how to row. If you row long enough, you'll learn to love his sayings and quotes and learn that coach has a sweet side to him. He may not act like it but he really cares about all of his rowers. Take rowing!!!!

first off coach is awesome, he yells a lot but its not personel its just to get things done, so just suck it up, he really loves the sport and it is addicting work outs are hard but it wouldnt be as fun if they werent

Great guy that knows a lot about the sport. Very helpful. Sure, he yells more than usual but I couldn't help but laugh. I would definitely reccommend this class to anyone. It's a good way to stay in shape. When you actually get on the river to row, there is no other feeling like it. Simply awesome.

Very demanding, but along with that demand come results. Coach is very proud of the UTC rowing team and is more dedicated to this than any coach for any other sport I've ever seen. Ya gotta love the guy.

Dude, this guy is completely NUTS. Rowing is an awesome sport, but I left practice a few times in tears. Coach loses his temper very easily and if you don't like being yelled at or getting aknowledged for your accomplishments, then stay away. This guy traumatized me!! It's just not worth it.

Awesome coach. He is stern and stoic at the beginning, but turns into one of the greatest people you will ever know. He protects his rowers and loves the sport. The class is physically demanding, but the rewards at regattas are great. AWESOME COACH!!!!!
