professor quan is awesome! she doesn't give us much homework and we have quizzes every week. for exams shell gives us a reveiw sheet. which is pretty much how the exam will be. shes a sweet heart and very approachable when it comes to math! i took her for math 30! shes awesome.

She gives a lot of HW on MyMathLab.She is a very nice teacher and would help you out.She teaches straight from the book and powerpoint. Calculators were not allowed on many of the quizzes.Tests are divided into 2 parts, a calculator part and a non-calculator part.Attendance is required if you want your 3 points for each day you attend which adds up

So much homework.. not a lot of time to study. Homework and studying is totally different so she should realize that and allow time for studying. About 200+ HWproblems before each test. Weekly quiz. I would feel so much better if the homework were less.

Quan is the best math teacher at Golden West! She does give a lot of homework (about 60-70 prob. per week)online. Her tests are not multiple choice but written. She gives quizzes almost every week, but they really help. Her tests are not hard if you study. She is a great help if you don't understand something.

she is the best math teacher anyone can ask for :) i really enjoyed her clas a lot that i took her for both math 120 and math 170 :D she is really clear on her lectures, which makes her easy to understand.. i never had a problem with math when i took her :) hahah she is one of my favorite teachers, and i wish she taught calculus ! ):

She is my all-time favorite math teacher also. She is clear and very straightforward. She doesn't parent you [whether or not you show up & stay is your business] and won't demean you for asking questions. Only needed online book/CD. Would definitely take her again.

I am currently taking her this semester and I have to say she is one of the best math teacher there is. She explains everything SO CLEARLY, and is VERY FLEXIBLE. She's always available whenever you need help. I LOVE HER! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I wish I could take her for PreCal, Cal1 & 2! I wish all teachers are like her hehe.. That's how good she is!

i would highly recommend this teacher for anybody because she is extremely helpful whenever you're stuck on something.. she is willing to help anybody who needs help and she is easy to understand :D she explained everything step by step for everyone to get it :] i got it right away on all the lessons she taught me... getting an A is not impossible

She was a great teacher. Her class is a bit hard though but it is not impossible to get that A if you really put in some effort. Homework is a pain though.I recommend you do the two extra credit assignments she offers because no matter what you get for them, it'll help your grade. I got an A for the class :)

A great teacher! Attend all the classes and do all the homework as that's where most of your points come from. She also offers extra credit, but it's hard because it asks about advanced concepts that haven't been taught yet, but you can solve using concepts that were taught in this class. Homeworks is online and the platform is hard to understand.

you have to work hard to do good in this class. her tests are annoying. the final wasn't that bad but her tests are a pain. take homework seriously since thats where the main points are. shes an easy B. i worked my butt off to get an A in her class. it wasn't an easy breeze

Quan explains everything clearly. Her tests can be hard and the extra credit is impossible but she tries to give a lot of points for homework to make up for it. Do all your homework or your grade will die.Dont buy the textbook because you end up doing ALL the homework online.

My all time favorite math teacher. I am not a mathematical person at all and she is the most patient person. When you don't understand something she will explain it another way. It is obvious she cares about her students. One of the nicest people... can't say enough good things about her
